Yes. The Crusaders were Christians. Even President Bush used the word "crusade" to describe the idea of the effort to rid off the " Taliban regime and the Al Qaidah group out of Afghanistan.

If the Crusaders were not Christians, it will be just as safe to argue that all humans have not been living on planet earth.
