RE: Enquiry for 2020 admission intake

Hello,

Thank you for writing.
1. What happens if I make the payment and the university has not resumed by August? - The university intends to start the academic year as planned; in case of travel restrictions, the programmes are prepared to start online in the beginning; refund policy for unforeseeable circumstances is explained in the invoice.

2. As you already know all borders have been closed and for some people like us we need to either travel to Turkey, India, Egypt or Israel for an Estonian visa. As it stands now we cannot do any of that. - please note that visa process is candidate's responsibility and the university cannot aid in this situation; please contact desired embassy; final acceptance letters are used for visa purposes.

3. Thirdly some countries are holding on to immigration till a vaccine for covid-19 to be made available before travel can be made and that is going to affect us as EU is proposing the same thing. From WHO website, vaccines can only be available in 2021 - currently, Estonia has not yet opened borders nor announced medical requirements for entry; we would need to wait for this information

4. Africa is now becoming the epicenter of this virus and I can’t tell if lockdown will still continue. - unfortunately, the situation is complicated and unpredictable, but the university intends to continue without delay and is reviewing the situation week by week

5. If I make payments for the invoice and life doesn’t get back to normal and I am not able to travel due to the ongoing challenges,will the money be refunded? - yes, the refund policy states unforeseeable circumstances.

Yea. Just got a conditional acceptance offer for Msc in University of Tartu yesterday. It becomes unconditional when I send hard copies of my documents and they receive them within the next three weeks. Also got a conditional tuition waiver and a grant scholarship.
