Boko Haram militants have entered Mubi in Adamawa State, taking over the headquarters of the 234 battalion in the town, which is one of the State’s largest.

The action comes just months after they took Michika and several of Adamawa’s other important towns.

Residents and fleeing troops told SaharaReporters that the militants arrived around noon after successfully attacking neighboring towns in an overwhelming attack that began last night.

Nigerian troops guarding the barracks initially exchanged fire with the militants but fled after more militants arrived in the area with heavy firepower.

This is worrisome! Just when we thought peace is returning to this troubled region.

How did Badeh make it to general staff (red neck) if he is ineffective and lousy.
Anyway, the AHQ is not serious.
The NA is used to fighting enmass.
When 1, 2 and 82 Divisons are moved to the NE theatre, then I shall know they want to crush BH.
However in effective, Badeh is, if he makes Mubi his field headquaters, the other service chiefs would have no options but to beef up security there.

Military Chiefs that President Jona is supposed to put on the hot seat or fire them and put more intelligent ones there.

Instead, he was busy patting them on the back and showering them with national awards. Imagine that! I have neva heard of such before. Giving awards to military chiefs that lost territory to ragtag enemies.
