The looting of treasury continues as TAN splashes 10M on Super falcons.

The non-political campaign group has appreciated the Super Falcons for their latest success in Namibia where they won the African title for the seventh time

The Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria [TAN] has rewarded the Super Falcons for emerging continent's Champions at the 2014 African Women Championship in Namibia for a record seventh time with a cash of 10 million naira.

The Super Falcons defeated Cameroon 1-0 in the 9th edition’s final to reclaim the trophy lost to Equatorial Guinea, as well as qualify for the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup in Canada.

TAN, through its Director of Public Communications and Strategy Dr Udenta O. Udenta announced the cash reward to the team during a dinner party organised for the Nigeria's senior women team at the group’s Corporate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.

Five million naira was shared among 21-player and two million amidst the technical crew while the remaining three-million naira was given to Amaju Pinnick-led board of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Ubah, who is also the founder and Chairman of Capital Oil & Gas Industrial Limited, heaped praises on the Super Falcons for achieving the laudable feat for the country in Namibia.

He said the congratulated the President on his laudable achievement in sports most importantly football since his assumption of office while pledging TAN’s resilient to promoting his administration’s progress.

"We are doing this [reception & cash reward] to just appreciate the Super Falcons for doing the country proud in Namibia – winning the African title for a seventh time,” said Dr Udenta Udenta, the Director of Media and Publicity, who spoke on behalf of Ubah at the dinner party.

TAN, a non-political organization will be recalled rewarded the Super Eagles following their victory at the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
