There is an informal comprehension of hustling that simply means unrelenting hard work. But the root of that comprehension is in the idea that the end justifies the means which is the foundational idea of hustling.

That thought allows a lot of immoral and illegal dealings because the general thought is that once you succeed you can fix what damage you may have done. But the thing is that you don't just win something after a fight, you will still have to defend it. And if the only style of fighting you know is the dirty style, you will not immediately change upon winning.

I agree that entrepreneurship and hustling are different things. But hustling is not necessarily evil. Improvisation can be the good meaning of hustling. A hustler thinks on his feet and makes a solid field agent but an entrepreneur is HQ, he's the brains, the planner, the custodian of the dreams and hopes of everyone in the enterprise.

Perhaps the distinction between a hustler and an entrepreneur is the manifest capacity to constantly reinvent himself and stay AHEAD of the game over the LONG run. The hustler essentially lives from day to day.
Therefore one may conclude that while every entrepreneur is a hustler, NOT every hustler is an entrepreneur.

Well said. The Nigerian definition if a hustler is someone who struggles until he becomes a success.

A hustler is an entrepreneur who does not follow official business rules and regulations. A plantain chip seller.....selling on the street..hawking....is a hustler. Same plantain seller...tired walking....saved enough money....builds a shop..have it registered etc...sells plantain chips in the shop...but now he is an entrepreneur!...but struggling and suffering the same! My opinion!

Most enterpreneurs made their start-up capital through hustling (illegal way) and went clean by investing. Entrepreneurs exploit the end users by exergerating the value of their products or services so the end users end up paying more which is hustling. take y2k bug by Bill Gate. He made fool of all the world and billions of dollars rolled into his account. That is street smart which hustlers are. Money is in the streets and hustlers know this.

Dangote hustle through d sales of sweet n biscuit in secondary school, then loan some cash from his uncle to start a cement business,but today he is a great entrepreneur (that's d spirit of a hustler).

still dont agree with ur views, entrepreneur is someone who controls other factors of production....does not mean its only people lik dangote who do dat. Do ur research well, yhu can b an entrepreneur on a small or large scale, dat is wher people lik dangote come in (on d large scale).
