Blogger a service from Google have its own default template for easy customizing but if you think the template are not okay for you or not that customizable for your taste and you want to make a change to your template or you want to upload new template and you don’t know how to go about it here is a short tip on how to do it.

If you have a blogger template that was been sent to you by your friend or you downloaded it from the web and it looks more mature or more customizable to you and you want to upload it here is how to do it.
But you have to be careful about the template that you are downloading as some template contains malware which may be harmful to your blog and can kill your SEO totally.
To start first backup your template very important.

Log in in to your blog and on the blogger dashboard click on template


and click on backup/restore on the top right hand corner and click on choose file, make sure that the file you are choosing must be in .xml format, after choosing click upload and wait for it to finish uploading and your are done.

You can start customizing it by editing the template or by adding features to it in layout.
Note: If the template you want to upload is in zip folder make sure you unzip it and look for the xml file in it. Only xml file are uploaded in blogger.
