No absolute powers in a parliamentary system. It is not like the Presidential system. In parliamentary there must always be consensus and the PM is merely a coordinator. He can't do anything without the go ahead of the ruling coalition but the highest ranked person was Zik. Nobody had absolute power in the first republic but no doubt Igbos benefitted most from appointments

Any census in Nigeria will still be manipulated but if you look at all stats backed with biometric data, digital footprint, revenue and etc, you will have a good idea of how the population is distributed by percentage if not by absolute numbers. In short you don't need a census to have what you need.

South East leaders and concerned citizens say 2027 is the turn of the South East, and Peter Obi remains the choice of the people

A wave of outrage has swept across Igbo communities nationwide as elders, youth groups, and political stakeholders issued a strong warning to veteran journalist and PDP chieftain, Dele Momodu, to immediately stop attacking the reputation of former Anambra Governor and Labour Party flagbearer, Mr. Peter Obi.

In a joint statement released Tuesday, Igbo leaders accused Momodu of a deliberate campaign to tarnish Obi’s image despite the former governor’s towering credibility and national appeal.
