tnks for d response..a friend who owed him favor facilitated d interview for him!!..the friend joined abt 9 months ago and since then he has bought a car and a land!..this is a friend who up until 9 months ago was teaching in a school and earning 20k oo!!...
After d interview his friend told him that it's not a bad place that it's like a "club" and everyone is "family"!

Good morning guyzz!!...pls I have a situation that gave me insomnia last night!!..my bossom friend was called for an interview so he travelled to Abj for it!!
According to him the interview went fine and he was told that he has gotten d job but things got weird wen it was time to discuss pay!!..The panel of interviewers increased from 4 to abt 10 and they told him that d pay is something that will be unexpected but exciting but before that he will have to take an oath never to reveal any information or secrets of the company..another strange thing according to him was that he noticed they were all wearing the same ring!!
He told them that he will think abt it and get back to them!!..so he came to seek advice from me on what to do!...this is a lifetime opportunity for him and at d same time he is scared of accepting and becoming a part of something he didn't bargain for!!
So pls I need advice from all you experienced interviewees if this is normal!!..

No one can be sure if people didn't get alert today at all. I for one, expect people from Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara state to be the candidates considered for payment this week by following the alphabetical order of states. Larger percentage of those people may not be present here on nairaland.
If you take note, most people from Rivers state got their alert last week.

That mosgoon guy was so inquisitive when he was asking me about nnpc salary. He tried to gain deep knowledge into what I knew about the oil and gas industry. He wanted to learn. He probably knew Jarus was well connected in the oil and gas industry and wanted to learn from him too.. And people on here are bringing out conspiracy theories. A true first class graduate. What I'm even surprised about is that he didn't even mention what I felt was the most incredible stuff about him on here.when I Googled it, I was shocked

Funny that you mentioned this, earlier in the thread, you would have noticed me asking Jarus and xfire for advice on whether to mention my enterpreneurial achievements in the interview for a conservative place like NNPC. My major achievement is my startup which already has some investment by some top corporations although i didn't mention this in NNPC interview lol. That's what i was referring to in my much earlier post below


I just need to start out at a top company and then network. Networking is key. Be in the system, know how it goes..meet top guns ..and break out from there for the max blowing lol. I have observed most highly successful people and that's their pattern, not all of them tho, but most of them. So I need that corporate structure. it's just a means to an end

just left an nnpc retirees house...he connected me to someone on d panel!!..said they left d towers around 12 midnight yestday!!..9000 people were invited and 1000 to b employed!!..from d gate you will b directed by security to a section depending on d info on your letter!!..according to a GM some of those invited didn't really do well in d test and some who did really well were not invited!!
