I find this extremely silly.

I was very pissed when I was informed at the office that a female colleague I am close to but not in a relationship with came to my office in my absence to harrass, though subtly, an intern that I allowed to use my office for her work.

The message to the intern, as I was told, was quite clear: 'stay away from my turf'.

I can't condone such behaviour from a girlfriend, let alone one who is only a colleague.

Is this common with women?
