The Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Political Affairs, Prof. Rufai Alkali, at the weekend consented to the planned loyalty and evaluation test for aspirants under the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).

Alkali gave his nod in Abuja while receiving members of the Mass Movement for Goodluck 2015 and Nigeria Economic and Political Action Committee (NEPAC) in his office.

He noted that his office was willing and ready to accommodate all positive ideas to guarantee political stability in the country.
Alkali, who commended all efforts aimed at stabilising the polity and the support for the re-election of Jonathan, said his party and the PDP would ensure political stability in country.

“We are always willing to accommodate positive ideas that could assist to ensure success for the president in the poll,” he said.
National Coordinator of MMG and Director General of FFDGN, Kenneth Ibe-Kalu, who spoke at the joint courtesy visit, maintained that the objective of the assessment was to foster socio-political development of the country through a process that forestalls rancour, politics of hate and bitterness with propensity to cause split within the party system.

He stated that the project was embarked upon so as to build loyalty and cohesion, generally developing the right spirit of unity and patriotism to make the PDP more formidable.

According to him, the programme was designed to assure post-election stability of the polity for effective governance.
“The programme was to identify, evaluate and shortlist aspirants on classified basis who, if supported to victory, will maintain maximum loyalty and be part of a strong support base for President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015”, he said.

Patriotism to Nigeria in this administration has been reduced to Loyalty to Jonathan and his wife - anything not offered to massage their greedy egos is considered treason by TANmites.

Our founding Fathers who fought and died for the countries independence will be rolling in their graves. May God deliver Nigeria from the claws of Jonathan.
