i don't know why we Nigerians reason in this manner. Must we campaign for any body or any party any time we are talking of serious issue like killing? We have to stop all these.

I am wondering too. Later, government officials will deny that insurgents hold territory. Is it normal for insurgents to hold an inch of Nigerian territory? Too many absurdities in this country.

The government needs to remove insurgents from its territory. we don't read about them holding territory in our neighbouring countries that are smaller and less endowed with human and material resources.

Good news. Rip to the civillians and soldiers who lost their lives. But really one partial victory does not win the war. when are we going to exterminate these bastards? Take the big fight to them and flush them out to oblivion. So that nigeria can be at peace again. It seems for every member they lost, they always kill twenty times more. It make it seem like they are winning. Gej please act fast. let the lives of these northerners be precious to you. They are people's husbands, father, brother, son, children etc. Please add a little speed to ur sluggish administration and proove ur enemies wrong. Otherwise nothing for u come 2015.

same old story.
Boko Haram capture towns.
Maim and kill civvies...
The Nigerian Army recapture the captured towns... ''COMMIT GROSS HUMAN RIGHT ABUSES''.
Jonathan and other politicians condemn,
APC condemn the attacks and blame ''the clueless fisherman''...
And at the end of the cycle, the son..o.f a.bit'ch called ''Idris Deby'' sits in his exalted office and laughs at our folly!
This country is a joke...
But hey! God bless Nigeria.

This is probably a probing attack or a feint by Boko Haram. It clearly shows that Boko Haram now has the initiative, which should not be so.

Our military is giving them too much ground to maneouvre. Damaturu should expect another more massive attack in the coming days or weeks.

At this stage of the so-called insurgency not one Bokoharam operative should escape alive or unapprehended after an attack of this kind faced by the military.

A security source told our correspondent that the insurgents numbering over 100 had attacked the town from Gujba road, which indicated that they came from Gujba town which they have had control over for some months now.

in a state where there was state of emergency, Gujba town have been in control of BH for some months now.......smh
