I presently don't have the app installed on my phone so guiding you will be difficult, so your best bet is to go on YouTube and search for best dolphin emulator settings, watch a few videos and try out their settings.

I have mc4 but after the Gameloft logo screen goes black did a bit of research found out it's an error with the app but couldn't find a solution

But the "initializing" screen takes a while to load if you have widgets on your home screen disable it reduces loading time

It would lag every now and then, it won't be smooth but it would be manageable... You can download one and try it out, if you don't enjoy the gameplay then no need to download the other until you upgrade your device.
