The very first edition of the OYO STATE SPORTS MEDIA AWARD 2014 was held lastnight at the popular Options 24/7 along Agodi GRA Ib. The event which had in attendance top sportcasters in the country like Toyin Ibitoye of Channels TV, Ojeikhere Aikhoje of Supersport, Emmanuel Etim of the Femi and The Gang and Adepoju Tobi Samuel of Top Radio 90.9 had a full crowd in attendance amidst tight security.

Musical performance was done by SeunNatural(Ibadan finest artiste) Myro from Lagos plus other hiphop artistes. At the end of the event which was packaged by KayKoncept Media Inc had winners emerged in the categories of the award. Let's check out the categories and the winners.

Best oyo state athlete of the year: Biodun Akande (3SC goalkeeper)
Sport administrator of the year: Alh Rasheed Balogun (3SC General Manager)
Revelation of the year: Femi Egunjobi (Space FM)
