Naa didnt do anything ooo was strange to me as well... i've never seen or heard it happen to anyone before. Biometric letter didnt come immediately i submitted the application and I was worried for two weeks when i later summon courage that it will come along with medical but it came only and I hoping medical request will drop subsequently. hayqinsbFX: |

Any University of Victoria applicant here? Deadline: April 30. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by kfrosh: 11:41pm On Mar 27, 2015 |
First of all NAIT is a very competitive school most especially in some engineering fields like Power Engineering Technology, Petroleum Engineering Technology e.t.c to name a few. Even if you meet their requirements you will still most likely be put on waiting list for the next available session which might take up to a year. If you have a good B.Eng degree so the best bet is to take a risk and throw in your app. or better still try a less competitive college. . TRIPLEGATE: |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Nobody: 1:43am On Mar 28, 2015 |
TRIPLEGATE:Grade 12 maths = O level Maths same as physic 30, chemistry 30.... P7 or D7 would be 57% in Alberta. A2 or B2 is 85% A3 or B3 is 75%. Now competitive entrance of 83% means that if you find the average of your percentages in English 30, Maths 30-1, chemistry 30 and Physics 30, it should sum up to 83% or more before you can be considered for admissions to that program. Also, if you submit the transcript of an engineering degree. Your first year percentages in physics, maths and chemistry would be used as your grade 12. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by MockinJay(m): 2:27pm On Mar 28, 2015 |
Hello Prospective Applicants, If you think your hopes of getting admitted this fall is dashed since most school's application deadlines have expired. There are Institutions in Canada with a further deadline. Here's the three I know of; University of Victoria : Application Deadline- April 30, 2015. Document Deadline- May 31st. Transcript to be sent via postal mail or courier! University of British Columbia: Deadline passed. Although, some programs are still looking for more applicants Lakehead University Application Deadline: July 24th. Document Deadline - No idea but it should be further than May 1st. Anyone admitted to study around Victoria? Or any University of Victoria applicant/Undergraduate here? I'm to resume by September(by God's grace) and I'm conversing with a Landlord..trying to get an off-campus house for 470+CAD monthly. If anyone is interested, we could split or something. Bathroom and Kitchen is being shared with two other Students. 1 Like |

House, My wife got admission in canada and would like to start processing the Visa ASAP. I will be glad if some could please answer these few questions. Please what is the difference between the Study Permit and Temporary Resident Visa? While applying for the study permit, saw some TRV forms IMM 5257. Do in need to fill this form too? The question might sound stupid but its better to ask than make mistakes. Secondly, for the Statutory Declaration of Common Law Form IMM 5409, there is a part that says "Signature of Commissioner for Oaths" Do i need to take it to marriage registry in Ikoyi for them to sign? Thirdly, while applying online, I'm finding it challenging loving in don't know which one to log in between "Continue to sign in Partner" or Continue to GCKey". Please advice. Can i use my dad as main sponsor with 10m while i am Co-sponsor with 4m or vice versa. Can i also withdraw the money from my account once i print the statement of account for the visa application?i need to do something with the money. I will be glad if someone can answer these questions because I'm kinda stucked right now. |

Hi Pals. I intend to apply for a Study permit to Canada via d online route. Can I have more than one Sponsor? One of my sponsors isn't willing to hand over his landed property docs and share certs to me. Can he send it directly to the VO via an e-mail. How will that work out? Secondly, My Surname is Sholola but what I've been using since my WAEC cert was released is 'Solola' (there was a spelling omission of 'h' in my waec cert, so I was compelled to keep using it that way (all subsequent docs carried Solola. Two of my elder siblings are my sponsors and they maintain 'Sholola' as their surname. My seniors in the house, what do you advise in this situation? Urgent response required pls. Thank you |

Yes, You can...just have him give you a photocopy of the survey plan and have it notarized if you can. write an affidavit to that effect abut the different names.... Shebol01: |
