Hey Nwanne'm, sorry for the late reply. I'm just a jjc in these thing as there are more experienced guys on this thread. You know the best advice is the crowd-sourced advise. You get the good, bad and ugly and you choose the one that best suits your case because at the end of the day, it all boils down to YOU making the decision. So you can post anything you need clarification on here. Please ride on with your TRV app.

Pls house, how long should my sponsor's fixed deposit remain in his account b4 using it for my visa application? Or can I use d statement immediately after fixing the money?

Errrm... I think 6 months & above SOA is always advisable. Also.. I wldn't advise using only a fixed deposit account.

Hello ....i got a pgd admission to fanshawe, george brown and seneca college for HRM .please to the gurus in the house, which of diz colleges or province is better(as in lots of job opportunities and a preferably manageable cost of living).....2ndly,i rounded up my nysc march last yr and i have been working in a family enterprise(not registered with the CAC and its a sole proprietorshp)....can i add this to my work experience so as not to be categorized as 'idle'.........please @oga siga and co,please help thanks

I am sorry if my response on this one dey late i just dey see the stuff. I would advise on province/school been better. Funny enough I have visited all 3 schools.

First, if you looking for the cheapest cost of living go for Fanshawe. Rent in London, Ontario is super cheap. Asides that please run away from London Ontario because there is no life in that town. You can count the number of black people in that town. Everyone is so serious because one of the best schools in Canada (Univ of Western Ontario) is in the same town. For academics the school is not so shabby. Trust me you will get bored as hell. Job hard for this town. Eg my woman attended fanshawe while there she rented a 2 bedroom apartment for $875/month, in toronto same 2 bedroom in a shitty place is $1100/month in Calgary that same 2 bedroom is min $1300/month

George Brown: Located in Toronto. Happening city i must say. I really like this school because they churn out smart students. Cost of living in Toronto is not so bad. Going by their curriculum i can say the school is solid. There is job in Toronto but it is getting more difficult because the competition is so high. But HR pips get job but Canadian companies prefer that you are certified ie CHRP certification (Certified Human Resource Professional). This certification will open doors for you. In terms of Fun, toronto make sense, you will see enough naija people and blacks in general

Seneca: Depending on your campus, I have only visited seneca college in York University. Did not like that campus because York Univ students are known for been unserious. They have one other location somewhere in Northyork, I would say that location is a bigger facility. In General, seneca has got a good name out there.

If i would advise you i would say you should go for GEORGE BROWN based on its reputation. Please start preparing to write that CHRP lol and also begin plan how to leave Ontario after graduation. If you need more info IM me. Pardon me if you discover any typo in this msg i dey rush. Still at work.

No guaranteed job in Canada oh lol get that straight. I have friends that could not find job in Canada after our masters but when dey returned to naija they got a fantastic gig. Remember you are competing with super smart people in the job market in Canada. This one no be naija wey excel dey hard people (let me scare you a little bit my colleague get 2 phd, one in canada and one in turkey with a 770 GMAT score but before now he was working in a meat factory in Calgary lol)

Anyways, with Prayer all things are possible. GOD IS ALIVE STAY BLESSED

Good day,
Engineering is not my field also I have limited knowledge about. However, word on the street and from friends that are engineers suggest that UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO (this school is in the same town with the head office of Blackberry so e be like say a lot of their students dey get internship for BB) is very strong. If you dey find land of black with good engineering faculty, look into CARLETON UNIVERSITY (we call this school refugee camp lol) ottawa has a low cost of living but job is tough for that zone.

I am just going by what i heared sha. I have visited carleton so i am sure of what im saying

Hey guys,
Good to see some people are interested and working hard to come to Canada. I was born in Nigeria, but I grew up here in Toronto and also went through high school and university here (I've spent most of my life here but still visit naija yearly). Since I did not come through a study visa program I might not be able to of much help with applications but I might be able to give you some advice on things like the city, province, country, school life, work life and culture. I am an engineer aswell, I noticed a lot of people here are applying for engineering.

Goodluck guys.

Goodluck guys.

Cheers
