Incident which occur today tuesday 8th of dec 2014, could not be describe with any other word or sentence but as the highest height of human right violation...

News reaching #voiceofcalabar from source describe how a taxi driver in the city of calabar was beaten beyond beaten at a close gates, inside the premises of the Power Holding Company Nigeria (PHCN), calabar branch, on calabar road beside Guaranteed Trust Bank.

The incident attracted uncontrolled crowd to the scene who watch and take pictures with pity but could not offer a helping hand as the man was being tortured repeatedly in turns and dragged on the ground by armed DOPT members.

When the police and Dopt force found out that people, were already taking pics and video of the incident and that it may turn into something else, they quickly tidy up their wrongs and took the driver away from the scene in their van with promise that they were taking him to offer treatment.

Glad faces of some of the policemen were captured. Hopefully, this will go viral within our nation and will attract the interest of the IGP. Anyone who knows some of this top officials can help us put a voice.

Probably he broke the traffic law .... The beating is so inhuman and wrong and that's how they behave here in calabar sometime cab that tried to dodge them hit somebody or something ... At the end nothing would happen nobody would punish them so they don't care they are used to it....
