I wasn't happy on hearing that Buhari has won the ticket to fly APC flag in the 2015 general elections.I sense danger. Some non indigenes in the north have started relocating even before APC primary election that was just conducted.Their fear is that if Buhari contests and lose which is sure,he will again incite his supporters against any perceived christian just like he did in 2011.Having stayed in the north for some time now,I realised that majority of northerners love Buhari so much and are prepared to please him even if it means to spill blood. But God will frustrate their plans this time around.Somebody should just tell this man to go and rest before he plunges this coutry into another bloodbath. But let me ask is it by force to rule?

thank god you admitted jonathan has been ruining the economy, then breeze of change is sweeping accross the country, and the Buhari is the only leader we ever had that is not tainted with corruption. we dont give a damn about you sycophants, one thing that is certain is that the votes of majority of the people of south east and south south alone can't get jonathan back to power. #saibuhari

A large number of those APC governors shall soon abandon Buhari's presidential ambition. Many of the governors see Buhari as unforgiving and very vindictive.

“This will be the fourth time General Buhari will be contesting in the presidential elections. On each of the three previous occasions, he failed to articulate a vision of the future that was acceptable to Nigerians. On each occasion his brand of politics was rejected across Nigeria. Apart from changing to a dinner suit, General Buhari, has not changed the tired ideas and provocative utterances that Nigerians rejected in previous elections.

what a blunder by APC, the crying General will cry again, this time with a very Big bowl, Now I know that these northern politicians are hell bent on wiping out their generation after 2015 election. they are just crying because the dog and the baboon are soaking in blood, imagine what will happen when the lion and elephant will start soaking in blood. this time South West may have a taste of it. All the accolades buhari is getting is mainly because of his integrity and his non corrupt attitude.

The Nigerian Senate summoned Abdulrasheed maina, the pension boss sometimes back...because of missing pension funds...can u imagined he was shielded by the govt?...

Have u read what obj said in his new book rgds this govt?

Most scumbergs here knows pdp has performed woefully and is a corrupt gvt..but sentiments will not allow them bow their heads in shame

followed closely, the APC National convention through out the day, sharing my time between work and information I left work early (9pm) and went to the Teslim Balogun stadium to witness a major event in the history of Nigeria, one that decides our future. I spent sometime there, and after seeing with my eyes the family structured convention, where Fayemi was up and down to make sure, everything is on point for the major event,I zoomed off home. I realised an atmosphere of Democracy was prevailing in the environment, all contestants had banners and deir fans all over the place, I particularly recognized Okorochas pple everywhere, and I said to myself, here is another man giving the Igbos an opportunity to line up and vote for deir blood, and not being attached with the South or being deceived that PDP is an Igbo party when the President, vice president, Senate president, House of rep are not from their land. I got home, I decided to put on the tv and continue the follow up. And then I put it on AIT, I was surprised it was being aired, becasuse as known AIT is controlled by Jonathan through Dokpesi, NTA is a govt controlled station, likewise Stv, where the chairman just won a PDP ticket to contest for the sente. With my sleepy eyes I settled down to watch my assumed Apc convention. After 15 mins I noticed the leaking Umbrella on my Tv screen, and then it confirmed my AIT-PDP connection. It was at that point I realized PDP had their own national convention in Abuja same day, with APC, the only Agenda for the election was the selection of the president, then I appreciated what ApC was doing, giving us the previlege of feeling what political tension feels like, even for the Taniods, they are all ears praying Atiku wins the Ticket, it's still part of the feeling your part can't give you. Through out the day I did not see or hear it on radio, Tv, Twitter, Facebook, even our Nairaland that PDP have a convention, but multiple threads have been opened for the APC election. I remember in the days of Peter odilii-Obasanjo elections, (Odili stepped down) when you see the moderator counting the votes keep saying "Obasanjo, Obasanjo...after 50 Obasanjo's, then they sight a vote for another candidate, that was when PDP was relevant, but now they don't even make the news...Nigerians are tired of an autocratic system. Never in the history of PDP has there been a selection process in which all forms were withheld. If all parties did selection, what will we be discussing and throwing jabs at ourselves on? As Nigeria stays on a standby to vote for their candidate, I implore you all to use your brains. Merci.

If you don't want bloodbath according to you, make sure you stay away from rigging and don't be used by northern politicians to rig either because when they stole their people mandate with your help. They will hide in their palace with state protection and left you to die.
Rigging bring violence reaction, ask the people of Kenya and Buhari did not ask them.

If we are honest, did Buhari actually lost any of those electiond except for Nigeria scientific rigging, especially the 2011 election?
In 2011 without any single governor backing him with structure or money, no real party structure either with a new party and he managed to garner 12 million votes despite the massive rigging and you think 12 million votes from a lone ranger had no following? What world are you living in?

Can Obasanjo or Jonathan able to win a state house assembly elections without PDP structures and their professional rigging schemes?
Forget about politics and be honest.

Hope you know that the 12 million votes include massive underage voters and sufficient ballot box stuffing in the north. The corpers that refused to cooperate paid with their lives.

Thank God for the successful conduct of the presidential
primaries of the two main political parties in Nigeria. My
prayer is: may the blood of monkeys and baboons never mix both now, during and after the elections in 2015, in Jesus name. Amen! Please, may we go about our support for our preferred candidates in the overall/ultimate interest of the country and may electoral tolerance guide all of us in all our undertakings throughout this electioneering period. My people say: it is a sheer taboo for a man to just die off because his enemy wished him death. Let's all shame the detractors of this great country of ours. #Godblessnigeria!

For sure Buhari is always a looser, I ask myself what this aboki wants in aso rock that after 3 attempts he still don't want to give up despite his age. This man murdered democracy in Nigeria and doesn't deserve to be a leader, he has an agenda which I have come to realise and definitely not a good agenda but God will never let that happen.

McLuhan:
While I congratulate Gen. Buhari on his victory at the APC presidential primaries, I remain unconvinced that a seventy-something year-old former military dictator is Nigeria's long-awaited messiah. Make no mistake, Buhari is, I believe, a very honest man. As President, he would probably be motivated to make an impact, much more than the pathetic effort that Jonathan has so far exerted. No, Muhammadu Buhari is not a bad person per se and my objection to his candidature has nothing to do with his tribe or religion. Rather, I am worried that Nigeria today has not yet birthed a political system that can allow its best and brightest, its vibrant and brilliant young minds, who exist in abundance, to rise to the highest echelons of political power. If our choices for the topmost office in our land are limited to Jonathan and Buhari, what does that say about our level of development as a nation?

As much as you desire a young harvard-kind of candidate for the presidency, I must tell you that your imaginary candidate will fail woefully so much your head will spin. No Harvard, genius, or young politician can even go near dealing with our biggest problem which is corruption. Corruption can only be stemmed by a totally selfless person like GMB. That is his strong point, the kind of corruption going on here was never taught or even understood in Harvard or in climes where humans are humans. So thinking that one sophisticate is the messiah you think we need is simply put a fantasy. Nigeria needs a Buhari to kill corruption before way can be paved for that young man you are talking about. My brother do you know how much GEJ and his wife has stolen since assuming office? Have you heard of NITDA? That agency has been dedicating their budget to any contractor sent by Patience since GEJ came into power. Have you heard that all contractors that did work at MDG have not been paid for like 2 years now? Do you know why? But the same MDG sent N2bn out of the N4bn they got to Patience ( I dare anybody here to challenge this). Please go to any Bank and ask if any contractor borrowed money to do MDG job have paid back in the last 2 years. See this is just a small tiny part of what GEJ has been up to. GEJ is a good person personally but not a leader at all! Not at all!

Please stop this trash!!!!. The SW has a problem with GEJ not his tribe. Also historically the Niger delta and SE have been the prostitutes to the north..go and read your history. GEJ is the problem, there is something about leadership and the Yoruba' s conception of it that is offended when you observe GEJ's style. Even his supporters amongst the Yorubas don't respect him, they say he is humble, translate that to mean stupid and willing to do stupid things to be a president without real power. I personally suspect the guy has 'down syndrome' and it is only when there is money to be made or some evil to perpetuate that the guy shows smarts. SW Nigeria does not like GEJ, pure and simple.

Geo politically speaking, when NPN Shehu Shagari' s gov t was in power all the votes they used to beat Awolowo always came from the SE/SS. At the PDP convention in Rivers an elder statesman was saying the same thing about the special relationship between the north and the SS/SE. Zik ganged up with Shagari against Awolowo during the second republic.
Even during the June 12 elections, it was only in the east that Abiola did not gather much votes. As for Obj's handover, i said it somewhere that Odilli had already bought the entire north in preparation for the presidency before Obasanjo stopped it dead. After the amnesty, Yaradua personally was more popular with Niger delta militants than Buhari during their own elections. If there is any region closest to the North in Nigeria, it is the SS, SE.

People are just spreading falsehood because Jonathan is in power, is corrupt and incompetent and the SW does not like him. Of all the candidates that coukd have arisen from the north only Buhari is acceptable to the SW and this is because of credentials garnered during the Buhari/Idiagbin regime, we all saw that on display today at the APC convention.
Please accept the fact that your simpleton president is not good enough and going down in 2015.
