Am learning graphics as a profession and i want to know btw adobe illustrator and corel draw which one i will choose. i want the one that will give me the best after learning it since i will be doing it as a profession. |

They do the same thing. But, if it were for me, I'll go for CorelDRAW. |

As it is, it's easier and more friendly for me to print CorelDRAW files 'cause most of these business centres don't know about Ai. Easy to understand and use UI. |

I use Xara Designer pro. Its the combination of Corel, flash, illustrator, Photoshop. its easy to use n you can exchange files between all the platforms. cdr, psd, Ai, svg, Eps, pdf, etc |

Illustrator... Believe me... About the printing thing.. Printers bleeped me up so much I had ti resort to separating colors myself... Plus to print, you don't necessarily need to save the print file as an AI file.. I send my newly found absolutely amazing printer my files in PDF.. I'd throw in the vector should he request for it.. but he rarely does..ask for em.. Most times he as, its probably to steal some my moves.. |

Local printers must force you to use Corel, Illustrator is better and sexier but Corel is more popular and flexible, learn both shaa, dont forget Indesign . I did the logo below messing up with Illustrator as a newbie, the application is d0pe

Pls learn illustrator, ur life will never be the same, if you want to print just import your A.I files into corel and then you can print it because they are the same vector software. But illustrator is amazing 2 Likes |
