Justice delayed

When they fail to speak
When they frown from the real
When they dodge the innocent deed
Should we then wear the wig
and hit the gavel for justice

See us not as law breakers
Neither are we truce breakers
We aint law men
Nor law-maker
But what happens when the jury fail to speak

The bearer of justice
Men of "valour"
who ought uphold justice in all cases
Hit the gavel in the right phases
But failed us when we least expect

What do we, when they fail to speak
Should we stand at the peak
Nod to see what will be
Or Beckon to the alien we seek
Of course no, washing our dirty linen for public view

What then, do we when justice tarry
We wouldn't tell this to all dick and harry
Why not let truth rule
Give to us a niftyrules
And let justice rule

She Use to be my Love

She use to be my honey
The betterhalf I cherish than money
Yes, she was once my love
The dove I used to hug
The angel that speaks the truth that you wouldn't contest
But where is she now

A fortnight prior halloween
over there
At the other end where I make ends meet
where I make ends meet for us to eat
Where folks on wheels come for a treat
There she was feeding my food to the dogs

Like a dumb donkey, I stood
Still thinking my eye might be faking it
But the truth came hunting me
When I heard her sexy groan
My bone suddenly became fury fused
couple with the touch of awe, making me seem though conjured

My mouth dripping with spittle
kidding myself as if I was little
I stood lonely all night waiting
To see if she will come begging
But the rage soon die down in me
And painfully I let her be

An Ode to his Praise

Listen brother
Look not how much older
God made the country, man made the town
Thinkest thou not of the now
For he shall tell you how
So let be the strange gods
And give the king of kings the bow

Gone are the days
When you need kill cow
Or plough all day
That the world would say Waoh

But he came
Changed ur name
Brought you fame
That you may be sustained

Is it not much more giving him praise
He gave to us faith
And brought us this place
Your errors he erase

So praise him in Lagos
Let the inhabitant of Abuja
Say hallelujah
Leave not your mouth ajar
Make it praise filled
For the lord got you raised
So let the city talk of his faithfulness
