That Christmas How many people Saw it coming, The saviour from the cold Birth the night before morning? A festival of felicity For both the farandoles And the feigned fantods Who rocks and rolls. Some wondered why They were hastily slow, And that it precipitantly came As regretful winds blow. Musing; last year, few valued notes Hugged their crying pockets, This year, it seems Their affection finally dotes. Another empty vault Echoing in austerity; The pleasure of one season, Laughing at the loss of levity. It's like when harmattan came It dried up some senses. Prepping months to months, Who says joy has no consequences? ************************* Sojourning ancestral visitor Lounging in a luxurious coach To flaunt a progressive scorecard While debt is left stranded. 25th December is the day Chicken loses its innocence In the pot of the buoyant beings. Who knows the essence? Aromatic stew swam the senses Of drooling tongues, visitors beat their chests And swore that palm oil stew Is the best! But while on merriment, Remember that someone has none To make merry of, smiles seems to have erased With the memory of merriment gone. 3 Likes |

JUST TO BEHOLD YOUR FACE So wet,the curtain's damp an' drenched, Not with fountain, that could be fetched, Nor water, that thirst may be quenched, But with tears and beads of sweat, Dotting and trickling as if a freight, My eyes in awe,did glare at the earth, From the window, hitting the street first. My heart pricks, My finger clicks, My eyes blinks, My head rings, My jaw drips, My limbs leaps. The Christmas is lonesome in this old castle, O! Jimmy, come that I may need no statue, For a glimpse of your face is like a won battle, "Need you get me a coral from the sea depth?" "No,for your face to behold will elate at length" And bring not gold, for I've got no hearth to melt, Always strapped around me like a loved belt, ...Is the Gift, Bella so desire!. |

Christmas is filled with special joys, And the very best of all Is contemplating those dear to us, And the memories we recall. We often think at Christmas time Of people, affectionately, And we realize how blessed we are To have you in our as friends, As family. Now I make a Christmas wish for you, For a holiday full of pleasure, Friends and family all around, And memories to treasure. I wish for you a Christmas filled With joyous holiday cheer; And a very Happy New Year Ayamlaykorn Timpaker, Giyazz, OMA4U I see you o |

Laykorn and Everestdebliu nice poem...... I'm sorry for sending mine late.... I lost it while posting and had to start thinking of something else to write as I couldn't recall the one I once wrote. A Babe Is Born In starry night A pleasant sight, A babe is born A maiden young. With sheep that stare A sight so rare; Silent applause We all rejoice. A king has come To save the world, A king so calm His story 'told. Rejoice christ is born. Hallelujah we all sojourn. Ave Maria we all adorn. A maiden so gentle We all embrace. 1 Like 2 Shares |

-Comes but ones in a year/and when it comes it brings good cheer A time to reflect on the greatest gift ever given, not a time to drink beer/ you can forget a birthday/but u cant forget today /christ the king is born/you don't need facebuk to remind u the date a great hero and it all started with humbled beginnin/Slept in a box where goats and sheep are feeding/ the matter got worse cos it's harmattan season/Buh all glory to God,mission was acomplishd and we celebrating The star in the east;/ lying in a manger / birth of the christ the king,/ reason for Herod's 'anger From east to bethlehem, the three kept following the star/Herod got to know about this nd gt troubled in his heart,/ planned to make fool of the men ,and tryna play wise / buh joseph flew to egypt, to keep save jesus's life /a minute silence for the babies the king took their lives/cuz of jesus, they wr awarded a debt of death/xo they paid the prize 1 Like |

Kachisbarbie: People were using "babe" to describe babies long before it became a nick name for a significant other. It is even used in the Bible to refer to babies, including Christ. babe bāb/ noun 1. literary a baby. 2. informal an affectionate form of address, typically for someone with whom one has a sexual or romantic relationship. "I'm the golden boy, babe" 1 Like |
