When you want to build a strong firm, stop looking at the finance for the physical structures, though its impt.do more on investing on their mind (increase their mental capacity)- Next on that: Make them dream your dream or bera still CATCH the idea coz when they do your work is half way done...articulate your philosophy accross board and show it by working the talk, I mean u..Yes-u-d-boss! Build the structure: Setup strong structures to checkmate excesses, increase accountability and in the end profitability will become your right and trade mark. Pay attention to details: Don't sweep issues under carpet, take statistics/ indices, and observe trends! Don't do it all by urself: Delegate duties and give out responsibilities, this way u get yourself off unnecessary distractions in order to face pressing issue. Reward: Apply candour and reward deserving staff and client, this will improve loyalty. Make ur workers share holders: Trust me when you make them part of the business they won't want to run it down bcoz they av an interest to protect...its called the sweet police! Separate sentiment from reality: When you find any staff erring be firm to give out neccesary punishment from your policies no mara whose ox is gored!...by that other staff will take caution. Saboteurs/ informants: this is by choice but must firm still use this crude way. So you don't missout on anything...I call it in built cctv! |
