Una sure say no be generators dem wan begin manufacture?

Cos sincerely I don't wish to see more Powerbikes on our streets! That's some scary eish! Those things are far worse than the okada they are banning everywhere (in terms of being prone to accidents)!

If its okada, then their business IQ needs to be questioned. Why now when the use of okada is drastically reducing in the country cos of bans everywhere.

Now that oil market is crashing, and the down trend is likely to continue, all we need now to redeem the national economy is what to produce and export. Just pray we produce and find somewhere to sell.

Why are they producing motorcycles when it's bound in most states? Who in their right mind would waste money to get what they cannot ride?

I think Yamaha produces many electronic, electrical and other products of great usefulness and benefits. Let's welcome their industries in the country, we can decide what we want them to produce and sell for us and other countries around us. We can tell them we need more that motor bikes, not by criticizing but by by intellectual discussions.

A good step in the right direction. The products will come cheap for the ordinary nigerian economically.

Wrong.. unfortunately there are 2 simple factors militating against low price for Nigerians

1: High Cost of Production e.g Power, Import of Materials, Wages (Nigerian labor is less-skilled and expensive compared to Asian)
2: High Population of Low-income earners - how do you think MTN makes such gigantic profits.. it is from the millions of poor masses. The goal of a corporate entity is to make profit not help the poor

Manufacturing of motor bike? Where our States government are banning the use of bike almost all over the the states, for the reasons that it is dangerous for our road and it heightens robbery in the country etc.. But if it has to do with the manufacturing of the power bike as it is so called, we knew it is mostly been used by the law enforcement agencies mostly for escorts.
I now say, which particular kind of bike do they want to go into production? And of what used and benefits will it be to the masses who will need to used it here in the country?

This has been the story since thy kingdom come. The truth is that until the right social economic and infrastructural factors are put in place. Its still gonna be an uphill task. The issue is who is going to take us to that promise land. WHO?
