In a matter of hours, year 2014 will be a by-gone. It's been a tradition that Nigerians hit and gather in some place for the cross over, to welcome the new year. This place is where the first sound of "happy new year" rings. These are some common venues: 1. Church - whether for regular believers or once a year attenders (the new year just must meet them in the church). 2. Muslim praying ground 3. Shrine/Grotto 4. Beer parlour/Bar 5. Party/Gigs 6. Beach 7. Bedroom So which one is yours? Also feel free to add your own sites if they are conspicuously missing as we hail "happy new year" in advance. |
