Nigeria's abstention from the United Nations vote on Palestinian statehood this week has been sharply attacked by the Palestinian representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the collective voice of the Muslim world. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

They failed to realize that we joined that organization in error. Nigeria is a multi-religious State. So what are they going to do next? Expel us? 214 Likes 14 Shares |

At this point, we need to revisit the country's membership to the OIC. 119 Likes 6 Shares |

himkers:What didn't you understand? It's another attempt to discredit GEJ; more like giving a dog bad name in order to hang it. I am undecided on who to vote for up till now. However the approach adopted by supporters of both parties here on NL may do them more harm than good. 17 Likes |

While the stance of the United Stance against the resolution was not a surprise, Al-Akluk said, Nigeria's abstention from voting was a "shock" and a disappointment for Palestinians. See us see wahala o. Did they bribe us to vote for them and we refused? Was Nigeria under any obligation to support the motion or the only country that refused to vote or were absent? Why only Nigeria? Why are they not attacking US? Anyway, let's watch out for our leaders' reaction to this insult. BTW, who dragged Nigeria into becoming a member of such organization? 30 Likes |

They even had so much nerve castigating us for not voting against but for abstaining & being neutral. So OIC an Islamic organisation is propagating the Palestinian dream yet a sensitive and multi-religious country like ours is a member? Diplomatic relationship with Saudi & Israel is more than just politics around here and any leader must be very careful not to strain it. We definitely need to review our membership of OIC. These people think so lowly of us. 38 Likes |

My Amiable and Adorable President GEJ... Please ooo Sir, don't be offended ooo But What the heck are we doing in OIC please Sir? Is someone planning to change my name from Gabbysky to Abdulsky? Get us out of there Now and Fast Sir, as in, de-register us with them SHARPERLY!!! Enough said. 56 Likes 3 Shares |

ayukdaboss: If he hadn't done that, maybe an 'anti-christianization' riot would have broken out. Some people think things in their favour is legitimate as long as it is the status quo Nigeria's membership in the OIC is illegal, but a Christian president removing the country from the organization will be seen as 'christianization'. 58 Likes 4 Shares |
