Only lazy, timid, coward and unserious person look for opponent disqualification at knockout stage. If APC is still talking about GEJ disqualification having been sworn - in as president two (2) times, then, it means they are not serious.

I had a short career though in the modern Nigeria, I know that only photocopy of credentials are collected by authority during screening/interview and enlistment. In the colonial or post colonial military era and in some cases when photocopiers are not available and no business center, It means the authority collects the original, photocopy it and return it to the cadet (this is my personal assumption). A military career that spans many years of relocation and training local and abroad, anything could have happened. If Obj or Gen Adeyinka cannot find the original school certificates does that means they are not educated up to school certificate level?

When a battle gets to war front, the power of incumbency wins. You and I know very well, that as long as some groups are excluded from the highest elective position with no equity and with born to rule mentality, elections in Nigeria is just a periodic passing rituals and therefore anything goes. No body, party or group is righteous.

I was with a northern Muslim friend last night and I was shocked when he said he will not vote for Buhari but Jonathan because he believes Buhari is very sick and may die in the office if elected giving way to Osinbajo to reign in his stead.
He said it is very obvious except some hypocrites want to argue otherwise and added that he should do the right thing by providing his certificate and let the matter die a natural death.
He cannot claim to be scandal and corrupt free when he is already breaking the electoral laws of the country he wants to govern

I was with a Christian Igbo a few days a go who genuinely believes that his Igbo kinsmen who support GEJ are either stupid or tribal bigots who know very well that GEJ is a clueless and incompetent leader yet they support him because of religious and ethnic sentiments.

He however expressed his pleasure that many Igbos who voted GEJ in 2011 (including himself) will NOT vote for him this time around. He strongly believes that the chances of an Igbo ever winning a presidential election under a discredited party such as the PDP are very slim, especially since GEJ and his presidency are so closely associated with the Igbos.

He concluded by lamenting how his Igbo kinsmen have become slaves of the Ijaw minority, and argued that the Ijaw would hardly ever reciprocate the Igbos because of their fear of Igbo domination.

Let the PDP continue to dig up the dirts while APC focuses on the issues of interest to Nigerians. PDP as a party has swallowed a pestle as a result has sacrificed its luxury of sitting down. Obviously, the medical report shown is fake. What else would have made PDP's job easier if it were true? That is how desperate a party or its supporters can be to discredit an opponent. Even more annoying is the statement that the man might die before his term ends as such giving Tinubu's candidate , PYO the opportunity to become the President. First, GMB himself has lost a daughter and GEJ recently lost a younger sister. May the dead RIP. The point is that both have lost younger members of their family and as such none can guarantee that if GEJ wins he will last till the end of his term. Only God almighty decides that. Given PYO's pedigree as a SAN, and Fasola's also as a SAN, the implication of the certificate saga would have been properly weighed. Remember, there was a selection committee set up at the party level to screen the candidates prior to their party convention. If our respected SAN, researcher is interested in Nigeria and not PDP, let him go to court. Gani-Fawehinmi of blessed memory would have done so and that is the reason why a few days ago he was honoured by the who-is-who in the learned profession. Even if GMB dies while as a President, in our utmost sincerity, would PYO not be a better president? If PYO were to contest against GEJ in a free and fair election who do you think would win given their pedigree? But in that case, racial bigotry would be appealed to. The argument would be Obasanjo has spent Yoruba's 8 years so a Yoruba man cannot be the President. Imagine somewhere in Anambra where people argue against a Catholic/catholic ticket. These are Igbos, of same religion yet the denomination sentiment is appealed to. If Buhari were to be a Christian, the argument would be he is a northerner. Sharia or Islamizing Nigeria would not be the issue, rather, the born-to-rule argument would be put forth. As claimed in one of the posts somebody claimed the north has ruled for more years in which case Gowon is seen as a Northerner, who in fact he is. But he is also a Christian. Similarly, someone would also argue that the Christians has ruled for more years if you add Ironsi, Gowon, Obasanjo, Shonekan, and GEJ years together. In my opinion, if truly we are in a democracy, how will it be possible for a country to be Islamized or Christianized? We should stop this nonsense of ethno-religious bias and face the real issues which are of importance to Nigerians.

Equally an investigation should be made into his allegation that they were seized by IBB's regime. If aftet the investigation and the schools he attended refutes his claim...then GMB should be disqualified. Same way we are skeptical about Sambo's credentials and GEJ's thesis.
