A report done by CC Hub in Lagos about how Nigerian students use their mobile phones with over 5000 students used for the researched. Revealed that the average Nigerian student uses their phones mainly for social networking and chatting with Apps like BBM, 2GO, Whatsapp, Facebook and Facebook chat, twitter % others. Social networking covered almost 90% of what the average nigerian student uses their phones for.

In another news, the research revealed that 50% of the students use mobile internet browsing as one of the most common use of their monthly subscription.

Not only the working class have multiple mobile phones in Nigeria, In the research result it is stated that Students also have more than one mobile phone thus using more than one mobile Network. This is a good information for entrepreneurs looking to market to students through Mobile marketing or SMS.

20% of Nigerian students use their phones more for phone calls than other activities. This is an interesting fact which shows that chatting and other activities have reduced the time people spend calling.

Finally the average Nigerian student uses a fraction of their monthly allowance on buying mobile data plan and less of mobile phone credit.

Interesting facts from the research shows the change in behavior with technology playing a key role within Nigerian Youths.

So this is what think-tanks do in Nigeria, tell us shīt we already know? They should've added the fun fact every teenager has watched pōrn at least once on a mobile device.

Abeg jor, we need serious facts like the accurate population figure for 2015 or how many people who still live below the poverty line.
