Re: Welcome To My Office by metalliccards(f): 7:32pm On Sep 12, 2014
A person’s business card can be considered one of the most important marketing tools that he has. With it, you are giving you contact information to potential clients or existing customers to make them loyal. In order for the business card to do its desired job, it must be professional, attractive and memorable.

This can be certainty if you make sure you follow a set of rules. For starters, your logo must be simple and symbolic to your company’s services and the industry that is associated with. Placing your website and email is a must. People will be searching for a website where to look for more information about you and your business and also for an email if they want to contact you. If you’re missing these two, you would better keep the cards to yourself, cause handing them to people would be useless.

It is important for your card to be attractive and memorable. Try to think about the fact that some people receive hundreds of business cards from various individuals and they rarely remember any of them. Making your business card memorable is really important. I ve several tesifiers whom tells me about how there metallic complimentry/name/call/business card made them outstand. so i taught to myself ARAMIDE why nt tell nairalanders what an outstanding complimentry card cld do for them 1)when u give ur business card 2 ur client despite several cards they ve in there wallet once ur service is required ur card will OUTSTAND 2)ur card speaks of ur quality & class of service 3) its a great weapon of marketing 4) it attract attention& showcases personality. Below are samples of metallic cards& how it looks after printed on. enquires call 09090030295

My Career experience.. (sorry my sentence construction might be poor "I aint a word kinda dude" )

I did something at work yesterday ..
I resigned....

As been the only Technical dude with this Tech corp. I do all the work for all department..
Develop projects from start to finish under 1 week... (now with this, you might think I am the highest paid)..

I do all the jobs, what other staff do is to create reports and manage records of my work..

am the least paid staff ... What I earn with the work I do is not worth saying self...

Mind you this company make 30 million / month....

and I earn less than 40,000... while this peeps whose work don't matter earn 200k and above.. at first It was normal seeing that they all have their masters from one UK uni or the other...

cause I remember upon getting the job, I was told that I will be paid 250k but will be kept on a 8 month probation, which if I impress them they will retain me , but for the 8 month I will earn less than 40,000... I agreed been that I was desperate for a source of income..

1 year and half, I still earn less than 40,000..I complained and complained. and they said "OK.. if after 3 months you impress us, we will review you contract and give you what you deserve"... I agreed.. I worked tirelessly ... All my projects where all approved by the clients... thereby me making 11m for the company..

3 months came and (I was still paid my less than 40k salary and they even said cause i used more internet than ever in doing downloads 5k was deducted...)

I got fed up.. and walked to my boss office and asked him what I did to deserve such meagre salary.. he said nothing (other than he hasn't yet seen my value ).. and I said for God sake, I managed 60 projects in the past 9 months and 39 of them got approved... yet you say you haven't seen my value.. angrily I told him to go Bleep himself... and am out of his company.. Said he should go and get himself a valued staff...

Thats it i resigned...

And now I ask my self.. why did I even Stay this long..

Yes,.. money aint available...but I pray with all the freelance I can manage to get, I will be aright

I dont agree with the bolded, it's never okay to be rude and insultive, not for any reason. You can get angry, but dont take this route, you'll lose more than you stand to gain.

Apart from that I agree with your post, you shouldn't let anyone take your for a ride. As a professional you should know your worth.

I get your point, fact is, that isn't enough reason...when you blow your lid you allow the other party to shift the goal post, it (the issue at stake) can become about your being rude, immature, emotional, lacking-self-control etc. you take your pic...all these things do damage to your professional reputation.

It's better you find another way to vent rather than damage your credibility while you're at it. It never is really worth it in the long run.

If you were as good as you say you were and you resigned without insulting anyone they possibly would have called you back and it would be you deciding whether or not you want to work with them on YOUR terms, but now you dont have that luxury of choice neither do you have them as a reference.

if you feel you're good enough why dont you wait a bit and look for a good time to ask your supervisor for feedback, why weren't you offered a full role is there anyway you're not meeting expectations? are there some character traits they dont like? approach is key o...if you dont have good people skills you can bungle the conversation. Last thing you want to do is sound like you have a chip on your shoulder.

Most importantly, you need to ensure you add value to the company, is there anything you do that the next person cant do as well as you do? are you a go-to person in your area? it's not enough that you do your job, you need to have a clear edge.

Job/work situation in Nigeria hardly gives people enough time for anything else, except weekends most times.
Most people would love to build an additional income source but timing is the problem.
I just found a way we could build an additional unlimited income source, part time even while we are at work.
interested? send me a message.
