As the elections draw closer,activities and events have been springing up daily by political parties,politicians and organization in almost all the states in Nigeria. These events are geared up to ensure that the best candidates emerge as leaders in their different states and localities.

Abia state is not left out, as all it's citizens are clamouring for good leaders,who will save the state from it dilapidated condition to throughly a "God's own State" as the name implies.while some have chosen to go about it politically,a group of friends have chosen to do it the religious way by organizing an evening of praise, worship and prayers for the state to enable the general public seek the intervention of the Almighty God in choosing a credible leader who will lead the state in equity and fairness.

The group,which is known as the Abia friends Network have organized a concert called: Abia First Mega Praise Concert,which is slated to hold on Saturday 24th January,2014 at the golf course of the Aba sports club by 4:00 pm.

Barr. Chudie Nwala (oracle),who is the coordinator of the event promises that the event is positioned to awaken the consciousness of Abians on the place of God in the governance structure of Abia State. By the end of the Concert, attendees will be certain that God has absolute role in how people are governed and that it takes a man that is completely led by the Holy Spirit to make informed policies and decisions that will positively impact on the plans God has for His people. He explained by saying that, this is an an election year and there are many candidates jostling for the various offices and it’s been quite exciting watching the unfolding political drama. We indeed believe that one interested in statecraft including governorship office must of necessity posses certain practical skills necessary to succeed in it in addition to the strongest global network value.

Further, the ONE must be nurtured in three practical areas: Analysis (which is ones sense of judgment, evaluation of issues and application), Management (to deal with people and resources) and Leadership (which must be transformational).
He encouraged all Abians to be present at the event,as it will be a moment filled with joy and praises to the Lord.The concert will parade a cynosure of globally recognized gospel music artist, comedians, dancers and Ministers of God’s Word whose impact in ministry has traversed the length and breadth of this country. It will also afford the opportunity of hunting for talents and gift that are largely untapped in Abia State.
