So much said, so much heard! I've asked this critical and interesting question somewhere else and would want to know what happens if Gen Buhari (rtd) loses 2015 presidential election? Some explained why it must be him 2015, not knowing that majority still don't want him for one reason or the other despite the political gatherings, and one of them amongst others said he'll re-contest in 2019. Nowadays, it remain make politicians visit or pose in pictures with the devil in the name of endorsement.  The probability of any of the major presidential contestant to lose or win is 100% certain. bettercreature: Dear fellow, Your initial statement makes it seem as if it is a do or die affair. Both parties will rig. Jonathan has indeed tried to make INEC autonomous however, there are strongholds that both parties will want to capture by all means for instance Lagos for APC, Rivers for PDP. Thus, there is the probability as the op has stated. We need to be open minded and consider those odds so that we can mitigate against the occurrence of violence. The northern illiterates who are fanatical about Buhari are ready to die and willingly so. Hence, what we should be thinking about is how to manage the situation if he loses. I'm sure no Southerner is interested in dying. As we all know Yorubas as described by the Encyclopedia are the merry making tribe on the west coast of Africa. Thank you. 1 Like 1 Share |

If (hopefully when) he looses...it's gonna be another case of history repeating itself....what I mean is...like 2003 and 2011 there will be wide spread reactionary violence, in 3 days an estimated 1000 people will loose their lives, then the army will quell the uprising and GMB will as usual cry foul and therefore go back to the drawing board and restrategise for his running in 2019 where history shall also repeat itself |
