This keeps disturbing me every time I hear it. The saying that gej has spent 6 years in office, as president of nigeria. This started with the kano state govenor and it has become the norm, now even the pdp haven't come out to refute it. This also tells me how nigerians can just walk by 'hear say' and not facts and how easily we forget things. President Yar'adua was flown out of nigeria on 23rd November 2009. On the 9th of February 2010 the two houses of the National Assembly passed a motion with doctrine of necessity, making Jonathan Ag President. On May 5th 2010 President yar'adua died and on the 6th of May 2010 Jonathan was sworn in as Substantive President.
If you count from when he was acting or when he became substantive it is still not up to 5 years yet talkless of 6 years!

Yes you are right. Eventhough I detest GEJ's style of leadership and has been mobilizing hundreds of people against his reelection, I always cringe when people say this.
It is good to set the record straight, it is almost 5 years as you said.

But the 5 years is still a colossal failure, filled with so much cluelessness. We will be voting his corrupt a.ss out in Feb.

If buhari didn't have Waec before entering NDA, then its not a question of illiteracy it's a question of corruption, criminality and falsehood. He should be jailed for that, because he has lied under oath that he had a certificate he never had. And he must be stripped all other qualifications he has, because they all stand on falsehood!
