Brake failure along the mambilla steeps is the worst fear of anybody who ever traversed that dangerous route.

I've heard stories in Gembu that even with an intact brake and good car, not many drivers (especially first timers) would make it to Mambilla and back to Gashaka alive.

Looking at the bottomless gorges by the long, winding, slender road is enough to make the lily-livered pass out.

I am especially happy for the survivors. I am sure their vehicle did not plunge into the valley.
