EU Observers Hold Closed Door Meeting With Buhari In Abuja by Nobody: 12:46am On Jan 27, 2015
Foreign observers from the European
Union (EU) today, held a closed door
meeting with the presidential candidate
of the All Progressives Congress, Maj.
Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd) in
Abuja.
The meeting with the EU observers took
place barely 24 hours after the
American Secretary of state, John Kerry
in Lagos.
According to Punch, although details of
the meeting were not made public, it
was gathered that the issues of mutual
interest such as security and the need
for strict adherence to the rules of
democracy topped the agenda.
Leader of the European Union Election
Observer, Mr Santiago Fisas explained
that the union has deployed the first
batch of 30 observers to begin to
monitor the process. He said a total of
90 observers are to monitor the
electoral process in the country.
He, however, explained that the
monitors would not be deployed
anywhere in the North-East because of
the security challenges in the area.
In addition, Santiago said that aside
from the first batch of 30 observers,
who are currently in Nigeria, the second
batch would arrive on February 7, while
the last batch would arrive before the
election.

Very likely their meeting was centered on Buhari not instigating his foot soldiers to repeat the mayhem of 2011. That's all.

PDP's plan to postpone the elections has failed totally as the international community knows this will only lead to anarchy and has verbally and through body language made this known to Jona and his crew.

I can see the incoming president, GMB is already relating with the US and EU and establishing his foreign relations stance early... hmm, I like tht. smiley wink

Exhibiting Jonathan's cluelessness as usual. Watch as some of your shameless colleagues accuse the EU Observers of going to the meeting to give him [Buhari] medical advise!
