Pls house, I just acquired first generation rav4 2002 model from cotonu, can somebody tell me the best oil to use on it. It's mobile 1 good for it?

It is possible for you to use conventional or synthetic 5W30
Also all of the API products rated oils are pretty wonderful for this case.

I used visco 2000 on my Rav4 2004 and am not really enjoying it. The oil is 5w50 but Toyota recommended 5w30. Don't know any brand that has that spec. My car guzzles too much fuel. Seems the catalyst was removed

milemaster has that spec, mobil also has the 5w-30. You could order from konga for 6k

I don't drive a RAV4...but I think Ur fuel consumption problem might be from the missing catalytic converter most likely because of the missing Oxygen sensor that is situated around the converter...If u have an experienced n truthful mechanic,give him Ur car to check if Ur sensor is still intact
