I was impressed by DR CONGO this year...they played very well and gave CIV problems. Am sure if they can recall their talent in Europe they will b far. Just imagine if the likes of KOMPANY, BENTEKE, KONGOLO, MANGALA,LUKAKU etc..were playing for DRC am sure they were gonna lift the AFCON this year. CIV still looks SHAKEY for me. cheesy grin grin grin grin grin grin

Am sure BLIND LOYALISTS like Idah Peterside can't see that DRC is blessed...the DRC has the highest number of African players palying regularly in EPL. Followed by Senegal.

just imagine BOYATA, MANGALA, KOMPANY, M'VILA at DRC DEFENCE while youngstars like Kongolo keep it tight in midfield.

I feel the central african countries like DRC, Cameroon and CAR are robbed of their talent... undecided undecided undecided undecided am sure if these guys were playing for DRC they were gonna BLOW OFF IVORY COAST we saw led by Yaya. Am sure we wer not gonna be hearing people bitching about CIV.

^^^^^^these are some of the things that some REGIONALIST EMPTY VESSELS don't think about. cheesy grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

We products of M Net/DSTV who watch INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL 24 HRS. Know DRC is one of the best in Africa when it comes to talent. DRC has produced WORLD CUP WINNERS like MAKELELE former Real Madrid and French player.

I think DRC has been robbed of TALENT....FRANCE, BELGIUM, to a lesser xtent Switzerland are guilty of taking DRC talent.

Re: Ghana Vs Equatorial Guinea: AFCON 2015 (3 - 0) On 5th February 2015 by dieantwordRSA: 1:28pm On Feb 06, 2015
DRC Congo talent shining in FRANCE. From u21 to senior level Congolese are shining in France and dominant African group. Just imagine if that talent was in AFRICA

hence I say this REGIONALISM crap is OUTDATED and out of order. I would take it seriously if the likes of DRC and others had their talent playing for their countries or countries of their ancestors.

France,Belgium,Holland,Switzerland etc..even Germany lately are taking Congolese talent in big numbers cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry

yes it will be 9 off course no one is disputing that. As I said west africa unlike other regions is diversed linguistically and culturally.
Still North Africans RUN AFRICAN FOOTBALL FROM CLUB LEVEL TO AFCON. FACT.

The only people who think otherwise are old pricks like Idah Peterside of Nigeria who work part time for SA's supersport. In reality North Africa tops.

looool. wat does he say actually?

This is what he says...North Africa still tops African football from club level to national level. I have also noticed that central africa is another POTENTIAL SUPER POWER IN AFRICA the problem is their talent is all over Europe. FACT. The likes of DRC come to mind, they beat CIV 4-3 at home and just imagine if the likes of Kompany,Mangala,Mvila,Boyata, Benteke,Lukaku,Kongolo and other youngstars in France,Holland,Belgium etc.. were there

@dieant....they are talents becos their respective country of choice trained dem. who shud train ur players for u to go and take? only a few players like drogba nd gervinho chose to play for their country of blood even tho they were gud enuff for their adopted country.

most of dem chose their african countries cos they knew they wudnt make the european squad. k.p boateng is a great example. he wanted a free trip to the world cup and when he actually became gud, he tot he had made a mistake playing for ghana and dat he prefered the german national team, hence the snubbing. so yh congo's talents shud be from grassroot congo not bred by europeans.

that shii never happened .... they have the same myth is in ghana as well. Even google doesn't have records of it and neither does CAF or FIFA. Yes I did my research.
my dear - this was way back when our boys played bare-feet. You better believe this shiite ... the print press were probably too gobsmacked to report it grin

I agree too ....but dont forget that christianity and islam r not the only religions in the world. there is the african traditional religion and yes there r still africans who still believe in idols . who are we to tell them our christian or islam God is the only appropriate God?...

I honestly dont have an issue with this juju stuff if thats also what smone else believes in after all that was what we practised long b4 the white man showed up here but I agree that no one shd b allowed to bring other figurines lyk u mentioned, bibles, wooden crosses to take the attention off the beautiful game. At the end of the day its different strokes for different folks cheesy.
Agree completely.... I was just messing around with the juju or praying stuff. If prayers indeed decided games Naija would have won a World Cup by now because no one prays better/ more passionately than our Naija pastors ... tongue
