Is it not an anomaly that the military are providing security for elections. Their constitutional duty is to maintain the territorial integrity of Nigeria which they are trying to do now (we appreciate it) and not to provide security for elections. This is a clear sign that the military are beginning to overstep their boundaries.
Security for elections is the work of NSCDC and NPF.
Lol, all talk, go put them in their place.

I'm so sorry if I said anything that offended you. But that won't change my stance one bit. I used to be given the impression that Jonathan is clueless and isn't in charge. But the current allegation by the opposition that Jonathan is wielding the Army for his personal gains shows he isn't clueless after all. Which means our opposition, yourself inclusive, are contradicting themselves.

That's what opposition politics has turned to in Nigeria, they will insult and shout you down just to make sure you don't air your opinion.

Just wait and see how they will start fabricating lies against you - two hours would be too long for them to get ugly with you.

Those bunch of vagabonds are everything that is wrong with Nigeria.

The Military is in the middle of a final push against Boko haram and any sensible human can see it is yielding fruits as Boko haram is now desperately forcing its way into the border countries (Cameroon, Niger, Chad), the heat is just too much on them. The military understands the need to maintain the gas or even apply more gas on these insurgents and would not welcome any distraction at this point.

This election would be a major distraction, the opposition knows that and they are not happy their military wing (BH) is being shred into pieces at the moment so they are doing everything possible to turn that tide.

Elections in 2003, 2007 and 2011 were all held between March and April however; that did not disrupt or change the handover date of May 29, so why is the opposition hellbent on February 14 election date?

Intel available has shown BH are planning to bomb random polling units, isn't this threat big enough for the APC to allow our security outfits work on this and secure polling areas that have been compromised?

By wanting the election to go on in other states with the exception of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa; the opposition knows that is enough grounds for them to seek an annulment incase the election doesn't go their way.

These people (APC) are bunch of insensitive and selfish fuuls, they must be rejected.

It is now crystal clear that we have lost our military to the PDP. I doubt if the military can survive this cancerous cell called GEJ. Police being more political will soon issue similar statement. Why is it now that we are some few days to election that military suddenly woke up from their slumber to fight Boko haram? Nigerians should come out en mass in form of protest to send a clear message to GEJ and his cohorts. Lets rescue our Democracy from imminent collapse, these beasts seem not to know the value. After this government i will recommend a serious purge of the military especially.

First things first if that's you in your profile, you're very pretty.. now let's move on.

Here's how I see it, no one ever looks forward to the date he's going to fail. So he's either trying to move his failure date forward or he's trying as much as he can to right some wrongs. Righting some wrongs which could either be for the benefit of Nigerians or for his own benefit.

If you get a two weeks notice at your job to leave and you know you don't have any other option or other options are not just good enough, you do everything you can, within your power, to make sure that decision is reversed within those two weeks you have.

This is my opinion. Btw, are you in support of the postponement and why? I've answered your question

why postpone the election if der is no hidden agenda?
INEC announced the time table of dis years pool as far back as 8 or 9 month. Election was shifted from April to feb.. apc kicked against it but pdp was in support. Why is it now dey feel d election should b postponed. If der r no hidden plans d election must hold.m we are ready.. INEC is ready..so why postpone election
Ekiti, Osun and Anambra election were never postponed from d fixed date given by INEC. Why postpone the General election. We are ready.

Don't mind them. At the end of this election, whenever it holds, we'll know who is clueless. Because he doesn't make noise like Amaechi that's why they call him clueless. By the time this election is over, many people will learn a lot from GEJ. We will understand that noisemaking is a sign of emptiness. We shall see.

GEJ is manipulating the military to retain power at all costs despite his failure as a President. The military is compromised, bastardised and highly politicised and this is dangerous for our democracy. This arm twisting tactics will not work because he will meet his waterloo even if election is held in one year. The same military that provided security for him in Maiduguri with a whole battalion for his campaign cannot provide security for election.

if you have collected yours then why did you say "no pvc no election" . The majority of people that have not collected their pvc are either lazy, don't plan on voting, dead or commited fruad by registering multi time. INEC has givenenough time for serious people to get their pvc and they still have till 13th Feb. Election must hold

How is it logical since;
The unrest is restricted to a specific region,
It was never an issue during the gubernatorial election conducted in ekiti and osun despite,
It's not an issue despite the commander himself using around a thousand officers for his campaign train

What are you called the Nigerian army for?
Bunch of cowards.

Now I believe the Nigerian army is full of chicken hearted personnel
listen to yourself. The army is going to prosecute war with the dreaded boko boys and you call them cowards for not staying back to provide security for jega and his boys during election. They should call the police to do that. The army is not saying now that jega should shift election, so why are you people insulting the military. I think jega and his apc partners do not the killings in the north east to stop because it is a political point for them. Buhari and apc have been playing politics with lives of Nigerians. Whether it is baboon, gorilla or humans, it doesn't matter to them whose blood is soaked provided they ascend to power. Many of you are hypocrites. I guess they need blood to sway people's mind against Jonathan. In spite of the evils of buhari some still blindly follow him and hate Jonathan. Even men of God who don't follow in theirstupidity are called fake pastors. I think the reason is blood and human sacrifices. In almost all apc states, you hear of blood shed, headless corpses, etc these are power rituals to darken the people's mind against Jonathan. The cost does not matter to them.
