So,apparently, one of the reasons Boko Haram was frantically sustained has been delivered to #Nigerians tonight.

It is clear that this postponement decision, by @inecnigeria ,was forced. This has a lot of implications regarding #NigeriaDecides

It is strange that security agencies have a timetable for combating insurgents that coincides with the exact period planned for elections

This government has basically said they'd combat insurgency successfully over the next 6 weeks. Setting themselves up for more failure?

There will be reactions, hopefully peaceful and lawful. I think INEC's hands were forced by a dictator who needs more time to dance naked

There will be attempts, over the next few weeks, to disqualify @thisisbuhari and send Prof. Jega packing ahead of his full term in June

Let it be on record that even though Nero fiddled and IBB annulled an election that actually held, a worse coward has bared ugly fangs.

Change isn't something that can be postponed or delayed, it can only be accelerated when the time has come. For Nigeria #ThingsMustChange

A king that is afraid to face the battle that will end his reign is one that only defers -- and accentuates -- his coming disgrace.

Writing on the wall ,אנמ ,אנמ ,לקת ופרסין Mene, Mene, Teqel, Upharsin God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end!

It is safe to say Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is behind the Boko Harram insurgency in #Nigeria by refusing to deal with terrorism until election .

Change they say means alot...

There is no need of better when BEST is possible..

If you like, like my post, if you don't like, change for worst!

#TRANSFORMATION WE NEED!

Fellow Nigerians, Lets shun violence and peacefully March4Buhari

Just because we re privileged to find ourselves on social media does give us the right to post rubbish...I just want to know what buhari did during his time in office..does of them in APC were ones PDP members who deflected to the opposition just for one reason or the other. Apart from Lagos state governor can someone tell me another APC governor how really brought change to their state.. Whether APC or PDP, all I see are people who just want to taste power and nothing more... Mind u, none of u calling for the head of GEJ well do better if u were given 20yrs as Nigeria's president... I stand to be corrected thou

So, these cowards have blackmailed INEC & Nigerians (using security) into postponing the elections.

These incompetent lot had more than 1 year to restore normalcy in the Northeast in preparations for the elections, and yet (typically) they failed miserably. Now, suddenly these baboons want Nigerians to trust them to do their job in 6 weeks.

Ok, so now PDP & GEJ have got their wish - sufficient time to perfect their evil agenda. But contrary to their expectations, things will play even more favourably into the hands of #TeamGMB.

One way or the other, come March 28th, this inept government MUST go! Change isn't something that can be postponed or delayed, it can only be accelerated when the time has come.

so since u sick for change whc am not sure that u hv made change in ur life. And u want other Nigerians to pay with their lives, for this change that u r agitating for. Since there is some security lapses in this country, the postponement of the election shouldn't be an issue cose whose so ever GOD has made victorious must come out on top. Weather Ince, the presidency and GMB likes it or not. Finally this ppl vying for elective post should note, that its a call to salve the ppl, and we should not kill ourselves for their selfish goal. Thank U as we await 28march N APril11

JEGA is a disappointment. I expected him to resign immediately he noticed is being pressured to postpone elections. His resignation would have sent wrong signal to the world, and set the eyes of the world on Nigeria. I think that should have been the most honourable thing to do. But love of money and power made him fumble. What we need now is PROTEST, PROTEST, ..., & protest.

I believe this is a welcomed development, INEC is not prepared to host a free and fair election...issues of PVC for those that registered this year has not been resolved, issues of those who cannot find their PVC has not been attended to by the same INEC... Infact the ongoing adhoc training is nothing to right home about.

So,this is really true after all the speculations. My view is slightly different.

emotions apart, it is better to have elections we are fully prepared for than to conduct haphazard polls that will make the world laugh at us again.

Right now, Nigeria's international reputation is at its lowest, we cant afford a further dip.

INEC might also be trying to avoid court cases that would truncate this democracy.

Any of those states in the north east can prove in the court of law that they were disenfranchised.

What if buhari or Jonathan has one short of the mandatory 25 percent in two thirds of the country and then the loser approaches the court that he would have had the full two third if elections held in the affected states.

By the way, I would prefer an election held in April with relative security than one held next week where we hear boko haram has bombed voters.

Most of us want change. Lets demand change with common sense.
And who told you boko-haram will not bomb voters in April?

If postponing the election will guarantee a free and fair election in Nigeria, that shouldn't be an issue for us. we want credible election that is very simple.

[
If really you have been to many international forums, you would have understood the need to condem politicians when making inciting statements.Amaeach said he will take to the street if elections are posponed and now the elections have been posponed. Most of us claimed to be civilsed but shy away from the truth. Why not condem Amaech's statement. What happens to those that chose to laws into their own hands or is Amaechi above the law? The way you APC members are going about this change is bad.

Election postponement is one of reasons why Mr jonathan govt is clueless and terribly wicked.Infact his desperation has lingering to visiting church post to post in the name of gaining Nigerians votes to retained his power. Mr jonathan govt has failed Nigerians, this govt has wasted billions on election alone yet they think money can buy conscience and mind of poor youths, election postponement is a litmus test that these evil politicians have finished this noble country and we will gather in prayers to send you back to where you belongs. If God in heaven is answering prayers of poor youths we will see what will be the end of all of you!
