In times past, when traditional religion held sway the dread of deities is the beginning of wisdom for villagers, and Priests and Priestess had an overbearing control over their subjects through unleashing powerful spells on anybody who dares to reject their evil demands. A notorious priest can channel all his experience in the occult to attacking a deserter to sound as a warning to all the villagers. At the advent of Christianity which at the time still valued the golden virtue of submitting to the will of God in comparison with today’s Christian teachings that God must give in to all our desires except He is no God, there had been scenarios where a Priest demanded that a baby be sacrificed to avert impending poor crop yield in a farming season and the early Christian converts disagreed. The Priest felt slighted, proceeded with threats and cursing; instigated the elders and youths to bring to the notice of the small Christian group that no one opposed the counsel of the deity vis a viz his anointed servants and went scotch free. In order, to make good the warnings the Priest went ahead to invoke the full weight of the spell on the group. There were deaths, misfortunes, evil stench and in some cases physical assaults by the Priest’s ‘mopol ’ on the Christian group. Lord, when did it become a crime to reject evil, extortion and servitude under heavy yokes, when did it become a death sentence to state the truth to the Priest of a Shrine, that a seed of a baby to the altar is against the teachings of our Lord and Master Jesus. A detailed labour in the place of prayers and the faith of the small Christian group annuls the SPELL. Most times the spells will fail to work from the onset because the attention of the Almighty had been drawn to make a name for himself and not because of the labour in the place of prayers
Is it not amazing that the days of casting spell is back and wide spread among Christian leaders who are confused as to whether to practice Judiasm or Christianity. Even today Jews had left most of those practices which draws some parallels with the Gordian religion. Why must some of our Bishops feel comfortable with these practices, threatening to undo anybody who winks at their unchristlike practices

“An influential prophet in PFN once threatened to curse some young men who had met him to discuss some issues that they did not find comfortable within the Church. He had actually let them into some secrets of his ministry which were damning, the young men ( I happen to know some of them personally) decided to leave the Church for another Ministry. The PFN Prophet, a former state secretary and a Zonal Exco sent them message that they can’t leave his Church without serious repercussion and they must ensure that no third party heard about the secrets behind his ministry. They called a bluff of his threats and relayed some of their experiences in that ministry to people who are already up to date with the activities of that ministry as rumour spreads. Soon after, the spell took effect, solitary white pigeon started perching at odd hours at their homes afterwards it was deaths. One of them is surviving as I type this and he had said dead or alive he is not going back to that Church years after losing his friends to accident independently he is still alive, married with children. One of them, his death was so painful to me he died in a fatal accident, nobody knew till several months after his death not even his parents were aware. Till this moment the Prophet is alive with his thriving money making venture and his strangling demands of seeds that even his staunch followers will have to borrow to pay in order not to incur the wrath of this Almighty man of God. He had so held them in captivity that you dare not visit another church without his permission, you dare not gather in groups to discuss his teachings that are not in conformity with the scriptures, you dare not talk about his open secret second wife and his escapades with the choir girls. And as warning he is god’s anointed and requests that his prisoners touch not the anointed of god
Some had left and had survived his onslaught, some others weren’t so lucky. Often times, he performs miracles which always centers around church members reporting that the enemy they had at the office died mysteriously. Some others give testimonies of financial breakthrough after the Prophet laid his hands on their contract proposals and the rests in the majority are heavy seed sowing men and women devoid of knowledge, who have been hoping that the seeds will be doubled one day by the money doubling god and these category borrow to sow seed, sow every money you have, became a norm.”
Although, this prophet does not call his SPELLS what it clearly is, he calls it a Curse to sound biblical not necessarily following the teachings of Christ. In fairness to them, the Old testament had curses spelt out and had practices similar to Spell castings that were jettisoned through the fulfillment of the righteous requirements of the law by Christ.
In other words, God had left those conditions and its procedural requirement, there is no more room for Moses of our time and Elijah of our time for the Gentile Churches. All that is required is faith in Christ and the his teachings, there is no need for any human mediator between servants or children or brothers in Christ, all have access to God through Christ. There is no selected mouthpiece through which God issues blessings and curses. Through our faith in the finished work of Christ we all share of his riches and blessings, we may also suffer for his sake. That is not to say that the New Testament church had no leaders but the role of leaders now is misconstrued and a far depature from what it used to be then. There was no place for Peter not to take correction from Paul or threaten Paul with curses for voicing out his views, there was no place for Paul to position in his estate and be demanding different nomenclatures of seeds by strong coercion from Christians. There were no place for any of Jesus disciples to constitute themselves as Harbingers of laying anointed hands for new converts who could afford the seed costs, to go and become financial gurus.
Hands were laid for the converts to receive the holy spirit or for healings. Persons who were rich without coercion contributed to spread of the gospel, the contributions were used strictly for that purpose and to ensure that both the preacher and the listener shared in all good things they could afford as a family

Finally, be it spell; be it curses, God is not in the business of distributing curses, however, a person who has refused to key into the atonement made by Christ will have the curses in the law, that through the disobedience of one man, death came and also through one man’s obedience life came that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in those who believed. Matthew 5:38-48 does not recognize the curses and spell as we have it today coming from some Christian leaders. The book of Hebrews and Romans dealt exclusively with the place of a mediator and curses after Christ Sacrifice

One dangerous mistake this generation makes concerning adaptations of some practices is the Miracle of Faith.
Faith is a mystery that lives around us and by some circumstances we get things done just by believing it could be done. Therefore has the Bible described God as the author of Faith and a lover of men who exercise faith

Now just because I cast a Spell on some one and it worked does not mean that I am working in the ways of Christ

Just because I prayed before a 1000 feet molded Image of Christ and I got answers does not imply that God approves of that
Just because a Prophet asked everybody to empty their pockets, sowing seed separately for expectations like a good husband, job, house, to be a millionaire, get promotion and it worked for some persons does not mean that Jesus promoted that sowing seeds are pre requisites for a good husband, job e.t.c. Some other persons sowed no seed and still got what they desired out of life

Just that a Herbalist get around his difficulties by invoking the Spirits of his ancestors does not mean that his ancestors are the only and genuine way to God

Legalism is not of Christ. The teachings of Christ and what he lived for are clearly spelt out in Gospels

How do one identify a Spell caster on the Altar?
Having identified that Spell casting has a direct association with the occult, that some Pastors, Prophets and Bishops are indeed practicing different brands of black arts. It is important, to throw light on the mode of operation of these lying crooks who have the Bible on one hand and their prisoners on the other. Prisoners in the sense that these brethren whom Christ died for have allowed themselves to be under the whims of a man who wants their income submitted to him while promising them Heaven on earth. As a matter of fact the term Heaven on earth is not in the teachings of Christ. Jesus taught that Heaven has no Substitute. No Mansion, City, Temple, Chapel regardless of how majestic or glorious it appears will have a bearing of Heaven on Earth and speaking emphatically, no life lived by any on planet earth can fit the Bible description of how heaven will look like. The following briefly describes the Spell casting Church Operators
1. They are the most arrogant personalities
2. They rule their prisoners with Iron fist while their immediate family are the most pampered
3. They are inadvertently addressed as Lord, feared and venerated by their workers
4. They are willing to dominate every bit of their followers life when it is within their reach. All choices in a grown up's life must pass through them. You dare not marry or chose to marry somebody who had shown signs he/she may not like the association with the Pastor
5. All the sermons revolves around money, Seed time and Harvest time, sow seed and become rich, bless the Bishop as you have never done before and become a millionaire like your Pastor
6. Most of the domineering sermons and speeches are best related through intimidating financial acquisitions which may not be for the overall service. For instance, purchasing a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
7. Boasting about his abilities and love for
titles
8. Threatening workers with a curse and attributing misfortunes experienced by some workers as the evidence of his powers to punish erring workers. If God punishes that way no human may remain on earth not even the Spell Casters
9. Usually have many who have been trained on how to talk people into parting with their money and the trained are covenanted to make part returns of earnings to the Trainer.
10. People are coerced to give up their earnings for the work of God which had now included a fleet of Bentley and Maybach
11. Most times the environment are neglected, the host community and roads leading to the Temple are ingnored except when the Government intervenes
12. Tendency to assume all cries for help are false. In other words, he does not take risk with giving out but commands his followers to risk sowing seed to his altar to experience financial turn around
