If, for the sake of argument the video clip posted here actually originated in Iraq or Afghanistan, and is in fact footage of a US drone operation or even a routine manned air strike, there is no need to get all agitated and flustered over the possibility that some resourceful person edited the footage to display the Nigerian flag on-screen, and thus give the impression that the action took place in Nigeria. The old saying goes that the first casualty of war is the truth. Nigeria is at war, and so the use of psychological warfare will appeal to BOTH sides of the conflict, as just another tool in the box, designed to wear down the morale of the enemy, in this case discouraging the Boko terror gang from taking to the roads in convoys as was common in the past, thus potentially saving both civilian and military lives. Those scoffing at the notion that armed drones are already laying waste selected enemy targets in Nigeria's war on terror, remember that an ARMED drone did crash near the theater of war in Nigeria's north-east just last week, meaning that even if the Nigerian Air Force has thus far deployed only manned aircraft, nothing stops the federal government from SECRETLY sub-contracting the deployment of armed drones to a competent foreign partner like the US, Israel, or even China. Free your mind, folks, and your asz will follow. |

Bayswater: i think he is a great guy. The only problem is that he thinks that by the virtue of staying in the UK, he is better and smarter than other Nigerians living here. So there is this idea he has about us. It is the same idea the city guy has about a village he has never been to. When the likes of them come back to Nigeria from the UK, they will end up finding out that they are the last ones on the queue when it comes to survival because they can't even function in the system. So tell me...what will be the use of their 'smartness' or 'superiority' illussion then? The world so so structured today that comparative civilization, transfer of culture and knowledge, skills and wisdom is absolutely possible. I wonder why an individual, who stays in a part of the world that should know better, still continues to think the way he does. I wonder why he writes off a people just because of where they come from and not what exactly they carry. |

craziebone: Outside the fact that the NAF insulted our sensibilities by showing us that their drone now have attack capabilities. If Gulma is not a prototype, mention one operation you know that Gulma was part of except exhibitions? Are you aware that Gulma's major assignment will be surveillance of Nigerian's oil and gas pipelines according to the chief of Air staff, has oil theft stopped? Bros don't be fooled, our current NA is as fvcked up as their Commander in thief. |

PapiWata: Bros we know that since the involvement of Chad and Cameroon, the French have been conducting surveillance for them, whether they have armed their surveillance equipments or they have contracted it out like you alleged is still unclear. Realistically speaking, if the NA has such capabilities, it will be in the media from the day of purchase like you said to deal a Psyche blow to BH. read here: www.naij.com/312018-boko-haram-weakened-french-general-jean-pierre-palasset.html http://thenationonlineng.net/new/french-planes-conduct-surveillance-nigeria-border/ |
