No Election Until Jega Quits – Ezeife by fkaz(m): 2:23pm On Feb 22, 2015

Former Anambra State governor, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife is angry with everything connected with the forthcoming elections on March 28 and April 11, and declares that it should be put on hold until the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC , Prof Attahiru Jega leaves the stage. Ezeife toldSunday Sunin Abuja that Jega, is highly compromised and incompetent.

“I don’t even want the elections to go ahead , if it must be conducted by Jega as chairman of INEC,” he declares, matter-of-factly.

He demands that Jega should either resign or be suspended, and that if the elections should lead to the “death” of Nigeria, an Interim National Government, (ING) should be set up with President Goodluck Jonathan at the helm.

Ezeife, ever blunt, says he sees Jonathan taking another oath of office on May 29, despite the prevailing situation in the country even as he insists that those behind Jonathan’s campaign are just after the financial accruals.

On the presidential candidate of the opposition All Progressives Congress,APC, General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd), the former federal permanent secretary, says the party made a mistake in picking him, because younger elements like Kano State governor, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal would have given Jonathan a tougher race.

Ezeife, who was special adviser to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo gives reasons why he parted ways with the ex-president, describing him as ‘a bully’. He also speaks on APC propaganda, a new INEC, and the Ohanaeze crises among other burning issues.Excerpts.

A compromised electoral umpire will only push this country to confusion. . Jega is a totally flawed umpire . But one can't help but wonder how Jonathan kept quiet and allowed Jega and co to run rings around him for so long. Was he asleep? If Jega needed to be sacked, why this late hour? Nobody was monitoring his acts all along?

people should ignore JEGA and all his schemings

On election day there will be no Buhari on the ballot

Even if he is there, the votes for APC will be invalid

Buhari will be disqualified by the courts. JEGA is wasting his time!

In 2011, Jega was a good man. but in 2015, Jega has become a bad man. Without apology to anyone, the Igbos have misled GEJ. GEJ should ignore the likes of Ezeife because he doesn't mean to him and Nigeria.
