What is the process for starting a new child board?

I think nairaland needs a specific child board for (1) parenting (2) marriage.

Yea, but the way it is right now is a bit cluttered.

Family is a big subject matter. I think it needs a child board specifically for parents - a place where parents can talk about issues affecting them.

When you say child board, what exactly are you talikng about.

What I understand as Child Board would be a place for all these children under the age of 16 that come into this forum.
It should take care of things like teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, peer pressure, and games forum. Also a place for story time and tales by moonlight.

But the Family board as we have it, already handles issues related to parenting, breast-feeding, nursing, infidelity, e.t.c. Just go into the family forum and you'll see a very wide range of topics that cuts across all issues bothering on family.

But my opinion of a child Board is a place for children. a.k.a Kiddy Board.
