Jonathan + Fayose + PDP = MAGOMAGO & WURUWURU PEOPLE. Brother Jonathan kindly don't follow Fayose he simply wants partners to commit atrocities because he is hopeless. Let him kill the people and rig election on his own in Ekiti without implicating you or the military and damn the consequences. I bet Fayose whether he will not leave to tell the tales. Fayose is a thug and a coward. He has not got any strategy or political skill. He is a crude guy. I feel sorry for Fayose. He should go and ask Samuel Doe or Charles Taylor in Liberia before he enters the Last Chance Saloon.Period!!!!!

Some of these PDP guys need to be hung. They don't respect the people(the masses) neither do they respect the rule of law. They take the ordinary people of this nation for fools. Let them try themselves & see what the power of the people can do. They think this is business as usual, unknowing to them, Nigerians are vexing& boiling at the moment.

Very apt comment!

This Fayose is an embarrassment to the position of a governor he occupies. He just can't keep his ignorant mouth shut.

Fayose will be a typical case study for years to come of the type of person that should never be voted into any elective post.

The acclaimed learned people of Ekiti really goofed on this one.
Fayose expressed an opinion and he is clearly on point.

holucunleh:
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described outbursts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the possible removal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega as “mere comedy,” saying; “President Goodluck Jonathan can sack Jega if he wishes and if he does, heavens will not fall.”

The governor, who said the APC should stop acting as if Nigeria belongs to the party, added that; “by turning themselves to advocates and defenders of the INEC chairman, the APC and its agents have shown that they have a deal with Jega to manipulate the elections and that the deal will be frustrated if he is asked to leave office.”

Governor Fayose said in a release issued on Wednesday, and signed by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, that “removal of Jega and any other appointees of the

Federal Government is a prerogative of the president, which no one can question, provided laid down rules are followed.”

He said the position expressed by the House of Representatives was that of the APC members in the House, urging that “the APC lawmakers should rather pay attention to the ill-health of their party’s presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd), whose whereabouts is now a mystery.”

The governor described Jega as partisan, saying; “By his actions and utterances, Jega had already demonstrated his bias in support of the APC. For instance, how can Jega explain the 80 percent distribution of

Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in Boko Haram ravaged Borno and Yobe States while less than 40 percent distributed in Lagos as at February 7 that the election was postponed?”

He said; “It is on record that Prof Maurice Iwu was asked to proceed on terminal leave two months to the end of his tenure? Is Jega not a beneficiary of Iwu’s removal? So if Iwu was asked to go on terminal leave before the expiration of his tenure for Jega to assume office, what difference does it make if Jega too is asked to proceed on terminal leave before the expiration of his tenure?”

Speaking further, Governor Fayose said; “it is the president that can determine whether or not Jega will go on the mandatory three months terminal leave which should commence on March 8, and if the president decides that the INEC chairman should go on terminal leave, what can the APC loudmouths do?

They boasted before the postponement of the elections that they would go on street protests, but did they do anything? They made noise when Justice Isa Ayo Salami was removed from office as president of the Court of Appeal, what did their noise amount to? “Therefore, let me say it categorically that the noise being made by the APC and their agents will amount to nothing because if thepresident removes Jega today, heavens will not fall.”

Please I have two questions for you:

1) how is it possible to have a higher rate of pvc collection in the North East than in the SS,SW and SE, despite the emergency rule, due to Boko Haram insurgency?

2) how is it possible to have over 1m amputees registered to vote by proxy in the North, with one local govt alone in Zamfara contributing over 70k amputees?

Guy, there are too many shady things going on in the North. The North has been aversed to proper documentation of nigeria, since independence. They have been opposed to anything and everything that will shade light to the true configuration of Nigeria.

Jega should go. He sold out. Like I said earlier, my only surprise is that PDP was taken unawares. But it is never too late to do the right thing. No wonder APC and Buhari wanted the elections so badly.

We need a transparent election by an unbiased umpire. Jega is compromised.

His wife said in her dream, fayose was impeached second term and Buari was crowned. Since then his wife has been coming from Ibadan to Ekiti state. cheesycheesycheesy we in Ekiti State understand everything about you. Nobody has collected nothing in the North East. All the pvc they claimed that people collected, are probably with their agents, waiting for mass rigging, come Election Day. What about the amputees that are gonna vote by proxy? The underaged registered voters nko?

As long as we don't have National Identity, we can't curb election malpractices. If we can't determine and differentiate individual thumb prints, then the pvc and card reader is a waste of time and very susceptible to manipulations.

So you truly believe that people in the NE, have really collected almost all their pvc? Well, I presume that you are still young and may not understand that it is very illogical to have people under the emergency rule, with the threat of BH, collecting that percentage of their PVC. Only in Nigeria does that happen and we know why. Somebody is simply sitting on the PVCs, waiting for March 28, to use them to boost Buhari's votes in the North. Nobody has collected nothing.

I am glad you said you can't answer most of my questions. I will help you a bit here. There's a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise most, if not all of Jonathan's support base. The North has built their political empire through corruption and lies. That explains why we have been very unsuccessful in creating a national data base;where every nigerian will be registered and given a unique ID number.

As long as we don't have a way of verifying and differentiating every finger print, the pvc and card readers, can easily be manipulated;Simply by registering underaged voters, ghost voters etc. That appears to be just what Jega has done to favour Buhari through his support base. Nigerians are not that stupid to assume that the PVC and card readers are now the game changers.

It's only in Nigeria that we claim to have this and that, without genuine effort at verification. Over a million amputees registered to vote by proxy and that doesn't bother you? Over 70k registered amputees from only one local govt in Zamfara alone? Lies! Lies!! And more lies!!! How many amputees do we have in the South that are registered under "amputees"? Why is it only in the North that we have the need to register over a million folks as amputees that must vote by proxy? The whole amputee and proxy thing is an aberration of transparency.

Jega is working for Buhari, APC and the North. We need a neutral umpire. INEC is compromised. Jega should go.
