This is talking about Jesus taking over from Adam who was created without sin but fell short of his glory. Jesus is the new Adam while Mary is the new Eve.

And yes the literal interpretation is that God thru Christ is brings a "new kingdom", a heaven join to earth, where God is all in all. But if u understand this rightly and draw the exact biblical parrallels u will see that the new heaven and earth will be manifest fully after the last judgement but that it was already inaugurated by Christ 2000 years ago when he became man and that mary represent the new jerusalem, the people of God.

That a time will come possibly after the judgement day,God will bring back all the righteous dead souls and those alive worthy of his promise.He'll make them live in a new earth devoid of suffering and death while the earth will be governed by Jesus and his 1,200(not very sure) saints from heaven.

Nb: there won't be an earthly government,this is where i have problem with them

Take note: they didn't mention hell.they believe.those evil people not worthy of this promise won't be brought back.that's their punishment cus they feel God is too good to punish his creatures with everlasting burning as many others teach.

On a side note: The new Jerusalem has not and could not be MARY ( a human being) Read the rest part of that scriptures and compare it with passages that mention the Holy Jerusalem that comes from Heaven.
