Linguistically close and yet dislike themselves so much, Yoruba and Igbo need to discover themselves more than they are so far doing.
There are thousands of words that mean the same and sound the same in both languages.
In this list i could pick names like:

2. I hear that name around and know it's the name of a popular bird so I was surprised it didn't feature on the Op's list
3. Tpia, so vulture means igun(according to the Op) and akalamagbo

fox, wolf and hyena.... their respective names in Yoruba ....always confused

Fox/jackal is kolokolo
Hyena is Ikooko
But since we don't have wolf I don't think we have a name for it though some might call it Ikooko too
