The only northerner that followed Buhari to London is Mallam El Rufai, who incidentally has called Buhari perpetually unelectable a few years back . Buhari won the primaries through the help of South west and South South votes propelled by Bola Tinubu and Rotimi Amaechi who both has aces up their sleeves.
Elite northerners like Tank Yakassi , Gambo Jimeta, Ibrahim Babangida, Shehu Shagari, Abdullsalam Abubakar, Sheik Gumi, Balarabe Musa, Aliyu Gusau , Attahiru Bafaraw etc have identified the Tinubu plot and openly opposed Buhari's ambition.
The others like APC chitin, Atiku Abubakar has gone cold and refused to fund the campaign further.
A vote for Buhari is a vote for Bola Tinubu's ambition to make Nigeria his fiefdom, just like he made Lagos State.
At 41, General Buhari was a laid back Head of State, who allowed his deputy Tunde Idiagbon to run the show.
At 73 with health challenges, he will be a sleeping President who will allow others run the country fully.
The reason why Tinubu refused to support Buhari in 2011 was because Pastor Tunde Bakare refused to sign an undated letter which resigned him as Vice President in case they won. This infuriated Tinubu and he pulled out of the CPC and ACN merger. he plot was to make Tinubu Vice President upon Pastor Bakare's resignation.
After the recent APC primaries, Bola Tinubu fought desperately to become running mate to Buhari. He was resisted by Rotimi Amaechi who had his own ambition, a stubborn personality and a very rich vault from Rivers State government coffers.
Reaching a stalemate, Tinubu settled for his errand boy and core loyalist who is a pastor from the largest church in Nigeria.
Ironically it was in the premises of this church that pentecostal pastors gathered and endorsed President Jonathan. This is because the General Overseer of the church was spiritual enough to recognise the Bola Tinubu plot.
The Bola Tinubu plot is all about hoodwinking northerners into putting him squarely in power.

DOA. You have failed already. We Buhari supporters refuse to be distracted by your 'divide-and-rule' tactic. Since when did you folks begin to love the North or Buhari? Now all of a sudden Tinubu is a demon coz he supports GEJ's opponent. No amount of anti-TINUBU propaganda can divide this CHANGE movement coz it's bigger than any one individual. Take Tinubu to court if you have evidence to nail him, or shut your trap!

The same Tinubu that GEJ made a deal with in 2011 to deliver the South-West votes for him abi? If PDP could have worked with Tinubu in the past, what makes him to suddenly become such a terrible person now?
