Lol. I'm sure your mum must've been doing this. Many reasons attribute to this practice. 1st, to avoid fight among siblings; 2ndly, to ensure evenly distribution of the available food among all accordingly (with most times putting age in consideration). The senior ones are given the more bigger size than the junior ones.

Let's share the memory of those old days.

Our food was never served on the bare floor but we all had our own plates and cutleries and each child was responsible for his/her own

I remember d mark on my face beside d nose was as a result of dragging meat with my immediate elder brother. He pushed me in d process n I hit my face on a table. grin. It added to my beauty on d long run though. kiss
