2. Buhari Defeated Yaradua(RIP) In USA Govt 2007 Poll
Buhari will win presidential poll - US
survey
By Our Correspondent - 22.03.2007
A United States government-sponsored opinion survey conducted in Nigeria has declared All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, as the leading presidential candidate, Empowered Newswire has reported.
A copy of the survey was released to Empowered Newswire, a US-based Nigerian news agency, yesterday, showing that the report was marked "Sensitive but Unclassified," and released March 19, 2007, by the US State Department's Office of
Research in Washington DC.
According to it, after comparing the ratings of the three main presidential candidates, based on what the Nigerians polled had to say "overall, nearly four-in-ten predict Buhari to win, while three-in-ten predict a Yar'Adua victory."
But it was not all positive for the former military head of state as the polls warned that the ANPP/Buhari campaign has been limited to the North. While the survey rated Atiku's chances overall
behind Buhari's and Yar'Adua's, it noted clearly that "Atiku's supporters could determine the outcome of the election"
The US government polling was conducted between January 17 and 27, using what the report called "a reputable Nigerian research firm" and carrying out "face-to-face interviews" with 2,500 adult Nigerians in Lagos, Rivers, Kano and Enugu
states, and the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja. Empowered Newswire reported that a senior US State Department official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, explained yesterday why the US government conducted such opinion analysis. According to him, it is "to understand a little bit better the views of the people." The official said the survey was a tool useful for
government and also business interests and it was part of the US State Department's objective "to understand the world." The official said it was not only in Nigeria that such polling had been conducted, but such analysis was done "with some frequency around the world." But it is not clear whether such an analysis was conducted also in 2003, although it is known that
the 2007 presidential election is taken as more important because it is the election that will see a transfer of power from a civilian leader to another happening for the first time in Nigeria.
The US public opinion poll asked the 2,500 respondents "what party they would be voting for," and 37 per cent of Nigerians polled in key states named Muhammadu Buhari's All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), while 29 per cent name the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP), and 15 per cent Vice President Atiku Abubakar's Action Congress (AC)."
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/FoMBO/conversations/topics/43
FINAL RESULT:
Yaradua(PDP)-24,638,063/69.82%
Buhari(ANPP)- 6,605,299/18.72%

For this 2015 election, Buhari has been winning virtually every ONLINE poll where participants are not verified and participation is restricted to only group with access to that information. For instance, diasporans, foreigners, underaged, people that usually sit in their parlours with full AC blowing on the day of election, and people without voters card with access to internet may participate in online poll. Multiple voting, IP masking etc are not uncommon. Most people that makes up the larger number of voting blocs(the hustlers, traders and so-called illiterates) usually don't have any idea of online poll, not to talk of participating.

General Buhari and APC, learn your lesson and expect another defeat next Saturday.

barcawhatever, can you please stop your obsession with buhari and try and sell your unsellable candidate.

please are you this daft to sell cheap and fake propaganda.i checked the links you posted and they were all crappy cut and paste stuffs on yahoo.

in your silly lies, you claimed united states goverment conducted the polls, the united states government does not even sponsor or conduct polls for its own elections not to talk of another country.

the yahoo was a pure fraudulent cut and paste crap, the nairaland own was just a choosing of preferred candidate by less than 1000 people.
please can you compare that to the 2015 kind of scientific polls that Buhari is leading and with all the APC structures
.

pls stop being a daftie, you have gone too low,the use of polls in Nigeria has only recently become common in the last few years and in 2011, most people never expected or even gave buhari any consideration yet he did quite well.this is the first time, buhari has ever been seriously mentioned or even led in scientific online polls and he is winning.

The difference is there is virtually no room for rigging in 2015.

The PVCs and card readers will ensure that votes won't be inflated as is usually the norm.

Meanwhile Jonadunce in 2011 had a lot of goodwill and support from ordinary Nigerians. This he has squandered like a useless prodigal son.

Come 28th of March we will send him back to Otuoke.

And you think only PDP rigs? Bro, the problem with #TeamBuhari is that they aren't strategic. We know that there have always been cases of underage voting in the north especially(that itself is malpractice). There has always been monetisation of votes especially in rural areas(all parties are GUILTY).

It takes a grassroot party like PDP to identify the people with "mouth" in every area, win them over, get them to influence their supporters no matter how "minute" they appear. Bros, this the APC and Buhari don't know. This is why PDP has been winning.
