He was talking about patriotism. He come say, him and kanu be the only person we don spend almost 40years for europe and still came back home with their Igbo accent. So, there's no other way of being a patriotic than that

Sorry I didn't get the joke. Patriotism is not about keeping your accent after living in Europe for decades but how much you love your country and the extent you will go to make it better. Actually it's more reasonable for this footballers who play to Europe to be understood to have foreign accent.
However all thus useless Nigeria celebrities in the entertainment industry who goes to Europe for 2 months and start forming their accent is just ridiculous. That's just downgrading of the African culture and shows their inferiority complex because it is very difficult for someone who is not a teenager to adapt to another accent at all.
