Am sick & tired of APC,why was the lekki-ikoyi link bridge taxing her people?
what u must understand is that the lekki toll gate is still reasonable, coz this where most reach people reside and they ve the money to pay....even warren Buffett said America should tax the rich to build d economy during 2008 global crisis, unlike the onitsha bridge where Nigerian masses are the one plying d route and how many Nigeria politicians use d road nowadays?so let them increase the tax on their luxuries and use it to build d bridge. .... the 20billion USD can build over 1000 of that bridge....they should account for d money!

The first bridge is still there and will remain so, people can pass through it for free, those who want to use the new one can pay the toll if at all it will be tolled. Besides how much do you think the toll will be.

Please do not mix up things here.

A state government bridge is not the same as a federal government bridge. Lekki-Ikoyi suspension link bridge is wholly state sponsored and the first of its kind in Nigeria. That's is Lagos State issue.

Under GEJ, the 2nd Niger Bridge will be the only tolled FG bridge in Nigeria. What have the Ndi-Igbo done to deserve this injustice? Let GEJ/PDP build one toll bridge each geopolitical zone to be fair.

cc: Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Maclatunji, Obinoscopy, OAM4J
are the igbos sleeping, eating or transacting on the bridge. Are the southeasterners the only people that would be making use of the bridge? People going to cross-river, akwa-ibom, rivers would be making use of the bridge so why the cry? Again my problem with APC and the issue why continuity must be encouraged in the federal level, the APC planning to revoke a and cancel a contract that is already awarded and with this problem of fall in oil, I wonder where they would get that huge sum to finance such a gigantic project whereby they know it's not just the priority of the Igbos. Again, Lekki toll is an example, if the people are paying thier tax, and the state government receiving allocations from the government, they ought to have provided the project without tolling, or are you trying to make us understand that Lagos is not in Nigeria and not administered by a Nigerian, so should be paying for tolls? APC should keep thier gimmicks to themselves, let the bridge be constructed first, when the 2019 election comes up, the ruling party will be forced to reverse any policy on that bridge. The main thing is to see the bridge first.

Where will APC get money to do this and make it free with dwindling oil price.
This one been done by gej is a concessions between JB and federal government so how will JB get their money and profit if there will be no toll
We love free things in this country and that is why our politicians and business men take us for a ride

I see APC as non performer they just want to get to power with lies and propaganda if they can get it. I surely know we are bound to suffer for it.

You have not heard of the about $12Billion lost annually to illegal bunkering under GEJ's govt obviously.
GMB will cut all these corrupt practises and use the money for massive infrastructural developments.

APC should keep their sympathy & forget this their politricks of 2nd Niger Bridge.
Let us have these points in mind as we discuss.
1st: the present niger bridge will not be dismanteld, therefore those going to Enugu, Calabar will still b using it.
2nd: the second niger bridge is to re direct those going to Imo, Abia & River State so that trafic at Onitsha will be reduced.
3rd: this bridge is it only Igbos that will be using it? No! Every Nigerian will use it if need be.
4th: it was the same Audu Ogbe who was PDP chairman when OBJ/Atiku was banning every product Igbo business men were importing. Audu Ogbe, OBJ & Atiku today are all senior players in APC.
5ft. Igbos know that since 2011 GEJ came to power, their business have been stable. None of the goods they import has been proscribed by this government.
6th: it is under this government that INNOSON auto manufacturing became oparational & another Auto manufacturing is coming up at Ozubulu while ANAMCO & PEACE auto manufacturing will soon start full productions.
7th: Oneh port in PH was closed by Audu Ogbe, OBJ & Atiku lead gorvernment to make sure Igbos continue to suffer carrying their goods from lagos to the east.
8th: no matter how u people see it, Igbos know that GEJ through our own beloved daughter Stella Oduah broke an unwritten law by making Enugu airport international airport. This singlar matter is still so painful to those who think & believe a defeated Biafra should not have international airport.
People Igbos know their enemies, GEJ is not one of them.
It is only a fool.ish Igboman that will vote for APC. Ngige tasted a little of Igbo hatred for APC during Anambra guber election in 2013. Ngige also know that he will lose his senatorial seat on Saturday.

Abeg APC and buhari should just keep mute, everywhere in the world roads are built for toll collection even when there are alternative routes,we the igbos are better off with the bird we have at hand, which is the niger bridge that is been constructed at the moment than vote for APC and when they win the elections, they will forget the igbos as usual,we all have memories,we know very well what actions buhari took when he was in power conserning the igbo nation,so we are better with the administration of GEJ and we reject your change.

PDP has been in power for almost 16 years and has looted more than10 times the money it invested on Nigerians.

PDP is the most corrupt and incompetent political party in the world. It MUST go, for a Change to come!

Must PDP go for change to come?
If you believe that a man who rose through the ranks in the army and not only became a General but even used that opportunity to plan a successful coup and become Head of State can wake up one morning and change into a "repentant democrat" , then you are surely biased if you do not believe that the PDP will change if they are given time to do so.
Am sure it took Buhari more than 16 years to repent and believe in democracy.
Meanwhile... GEJ till 2019

It di quite funny how people fall for just anything... Tunis and GMB promising transparency or the saying a toll-free 2nd Niger bridge And yet some Nigerians believe... What they promise they never fulfill... Sadly we forget the deaths of our fellow citizens in 2011 due to the violence insight by the same GMB... Tinubu is no more than a greedy man who likes to reap where he has never sown... Yet they scream change... once a thief always a thief... one a dictator, always a dictator...
