O LORD God of all creation, we thank You for our nation, Nigeria. We ask that You hear the cry of the intercessors and grant us peace in our land. We plead Your mercy over our wickedness as a nation and ask for your grace (unmerited favour) through Your Son, Jesus. Jehovah Shammah, please end the terror in our land; take the crafty in their own craftiness and show to the world that You have chosen us as a people for Yourself. Help us not to lean on our own understanding, let not our hearts deceive us as we go to the polls, but guide us to do Your will as we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. It's few days to the polls, if you are eligible and have registered, then go and cast your vote according to the convictions of your heart as you have prayed: do not vote against your conscience.
