Now, I have nothing more than praise for him, the men and women that without fail has stood the test of time to fill the roles of weighty responsibilities that mere mortals like me can only dream of. I wish you well Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and loads of rest that you most truely deserve when you leave in some eight weeks time.

Good point. He is really the Mandela of Nigeria. I cannot think of any Nigerian politician/President in present day Nigeria that will allow, permit or even tolerate what GEJ tolerated. APC would have been killed at birth by the likes of OBJ or IBB.

Contrary to what some buffons post here, this does NOT make him a weak man. He is a strong man. He had enough hawks around him that would have helped to snuff out any opposition. But he did not listen to them. Jega was free to do whatever he wanted.
